taylor
i admitted it. to a fourteen year old. my standards were that low. but i liked her. i mean, she had a great face but that damn dyslexic disorder was a major turn off. maybe if she wasn't so retarded i would actually talk to her. the boys called me over, so i drove to the apartment they had rented for the school year. yep, the decided to go to my school for a year to see how they'd like it ( A/N: cam is going to be 18, so he's a senior). i stepped into the house to be greeted with a very...feminine looking hayes...he was wearing flowers on his head and shawn's sweatshirt, which was obviously too big for him. "um guys, is everything ok?" i asked. "yeah, but um, gilinsky brought one of those girls you called hoes back here. she's taking a drag in the back with him right now actually." matt said, and pointed to the back door. i looked and god damn, there she was. i didn't know she smoked. she had just brought the cancer stick up to her lips when we made eye contact.
she obviously did NOT want to see me.
a.j.
i had to go. right then and there. taylor is literally hell for me. i dropped my cig and squished it out with my boots and sprinted. i sprinted until i got home, where i collapsed at the steps.
berkley had been sitting on my hammock with a cup of tea for about an hour she told me. she said i wouldn't wake up and that she was too lazy to drag me inside. i had the imprint of the wood from the porch steps on my cheeks. "do i look sexy now?" i asked, and i giggled. "what? what the--what even are you?!" berkley laughed. "your best friend!" i squealed, hugging berkley tight. "let's go inside yeah?"
after devouring a carton of ice cream and a pack of bacon, berkley and i settled down on my bed. we both stared up at the ceiling, silent. until i broke it. "berk? why do you think taylor hates us so much?" "i dunno a.j..." "it's so freakin unfair! we never did anything to him!" i said, curling up into a ball. "i know, i know, he's just a spoiled ignorant asshole."
hayes
the guys were looking at me weird. and honestly, it's creeped me out. but i can see why they did--i've been acting strange. it's for this girl...she's very shy. she wears a lot of pastels, and she's very pretty. her name's saleh. i figured if i started doing things she likes, she'll like me too...so far it might work. i never thought that a girl could drive me this bat shit insane.
i met saleh at the park a couple blocks from the schoold i was going to attend in a few days. she was sitting in the field, weaving her flower crowns together. i was kicking around the soccer ball, and then i spotted her... damn if hadn't seen her... wow. i immediately forgot about my soccer ball and made my way over to her. i crouched down and whispered, "hey." she looked startled--it was adorable--and looked up at me. then she blushed-- also adorable. "hi." she said softly. "i'm hayes, i'm new in this neighborhood. what's your name?" i asked, gaining some confidence. "i'm saleh..." her eyes pierced into my own. I've been told that i have somee pretty eyes, but mine don't compare to hers.
if this girl doesn't stop.
