After a while of walking together, Molly decided that it was safe enough for them to take a slight break from trying to get away from that walking disease. Molly decided to sit them down a a slightly dark corner that will HOPEFULLY be enough to protect them from that thing. As soon as she sat down, the man quickly latched onto the white blouse she was wearing. Well, it was more of a beige color now considering she was rolling around in the sand earlier. Molly furrowed her brows slightly as the man gripped onto her. "I on't ant ou ie..." he said. "Your not going to die. Your safe now..." said Molly gently rubbing her hand up and down the man's back just like her father used to do when she got scared as a little girl. "For now anyway..." muttered the voice in her head. 'You know whoever you are would it kill you to oh I don't know....SHUT UP FOR ONCE!?' thought Molly bitterly. "'re oing ou ie!" wailed the man whose name Molly still didn't know. "Shhh....we're going to be OK, we're going to get out of this." said Molly running her fingers through his hair. However the man didn't stop whimpering and saying they were going to die. Then an idea came to her. Molly closed her eyes and began to hum a soft tune that her grandfather had taught her father and her aunt when they were old enough. Whenever Molly would have a terrible nightmare that left her on the brink of tears and shaking like a wounded animal, her father would hum this tune to her and it would help her to relax. And so she hummed and continued to run her fingers through the man's hair. After about a minute or two, he began to relax and Molly smiled softly while continuing to hum. Molly even felt herself begin to relax. Well until the sound of guns clicking hit her ears and she froze looking up to see a group of men all wearing black and pointing their weapons at the two of them. Oh and did I mention the guy who attacked her father on the boat was right up front? "At oing on?" asked the man with missing eyes. 'Oh...just a bigger problem than the walking plague back there...' thought Molly holding him tight to show him it was OK. "So, the creature has been awakened. And my guess is you were the one to awaken it." said the man in an accented voice behind the scarf or whatever it was over his face. "ME!? I was trying to get AWAY from that thing if you really must know!" spat Molly glaring daggers at the man. "Ou at?" asked the blind man. "It's fine...just some guy being an asshole!" spat Molly getting to her feet. "You should watch you tongue lest you end up like your friend." growled the stranger. "He's not my friend first of all, second of all YOU'RE the ones who got be stuck down in this maze by taking a swing at me!" said Molly clenching her fists. Her blood felt like it was boiling in her veins as she tried to keep from tearing this guy to pieces! "Further more YOU attacked my father without warning back on the boat!" At this point, Molly could really care less about their weapons and shoved the guy HARD into his buddies. The black clad man looked up at Molly with wide eyes. Did she not know that they could kill her at any moment? Did she not realize they were warriors of the desert? Why wasn't she afraid like she was back on the boat? Molly stood there breathing slightly heavy and glaring at the group who had very slowly backed away from the VERY pissed off teen. Molly looked over at the guy with the missing eyes and her eyes softened before she knelt down next to him since he was practically shaking. "Hey, its alright...didn't I promise I'd keep you safe?" asked Molly softly. The man paused before nodding slightly gripping onto Molly's arm. Molly smiled and gently placed her hand on top of his rubbing his knuckles. Molly could hear shuffling but ignored it as her main focus was on the poor man with no eyes and tongue. A firm hand was placed on her shoulder and Molly whipped around getting ready to smash the face of whoever that was when the stranger who was most definitely still an asshole in her book lowered what was covering his face so she could see it more clearly. He had tattoos on both his cheeks and hands as well as a raven colored beard to match his hair the fell to his shoulders. "Listen...I'm sorry for accusing you so quickly of being the one who has awakened the creature. However, it is our sworn duty to make sure that it was to never awaken and now...we have failed in our task." said the man. Molly however looked at the man and quirked an eyebrow. "Jonathan, stop it!!!" Everyone quickly turned their heads to see Jonathan, O'Connell and Evie. "Aunt Evie! Dad!" said Molly happily. "Let me at him, Evie! Let me at him!!!" yelled Jonathan who was being held back by the two. "Hey, buddy, you might want to take your hands off her before my friend here rips your head off for touching his daughter." said O'Connell nodding to Jonathan then to Molly. The man quickly obeyed. Last thing he wanted was to deal with the girl's father when he already had an even BIGGER issue to deal with. As soon as the black clad man let go of her shoulder, Molly quickly ran over to both her aunt and her father and embraced them. "Oh, Molly! Thank god your safe!" said Evie hugging her niece tightly. "Are you alright!? Are you hurt!?" asked Jonathan practically going into full out panic mode as he searched his daughter for any injuries. "Dad, I'm alright. Almost got attacked a walking disease but I'm alright." said Molly. "What walking disease?" asked the trio in union. "She refers to the creature. It has been awakened from it's eternal slumber." replied the stranger. Both O'Connell and Jonathan looked at Evie. "And THAT'S why you weren't supposed to read from the Book of the Dead, Evelyn." said O'Connell placing his hands on his hips. "Evie, I swear if that THING that you woke up lays a SINGLE BANDAGE on Molly!" said Jonathan now making his sister his next target. "And that's our cue to leave! Come on, kiddo, time to say good-bye to your new friends." said O'Connell grabbing the eighteen year old by the arm and walking away from the brother and sister. "O'Connell, don't even THINK about leaving me here with my older brother when he's in full out parent mode!" called Evie running after the gunman and her niece. "Excuse me, but I'm not done with this conversation yet, Evie! Evie!" yelled Jonathan briskly walking after his sister.
