Lately Antok and the other Blades had been going out on a lot of missions. Sometimes some of the Blades wouldn't come back from missions. You knew that some of them had been killed, and you were worried about Antok dying. One day while you were walking around the base you saw him going to where the ships were kept.
"Another mission?" You asked as you both stopped walking.
"Yes. Zarkon has been sending more fleets to take over more planets." Antok said as he looked down at you.
"But what if you get hurt? Or worse?" You asked him nervously.
"Then I die. It is better than letting the Empire take over another planet." He replied.
"But I don't want you to die." You said, hoping that he would be careful.
"Sometimes sacrifices must be made." Antok said, hoping that you would understand.
"But they could have saved the planets without sacrificing themselves." You said as you started getting a little angry.
"No self sacrifice is unnecessary!" Antok growled angrily before storming off.
You were a little shocked at his sudden outburst. You also knew that you had probably overreacted just a little. You decided to apologize to him when he got back.
