Checkmate: The untitled...

Run back where you started...

  Months had passed and Alex never even tried going back home. He knew his family would see him as some sort of devil or spirit, haunting them for the loss of their son. He had already murdered about 15 people, and his crimes went all over the news. The boy still wandered the streets, hopeless.

  - What could I do..? - He asked, still wandering from town to town. He thought and thought but with no avail. Alex then remembered about the chess championships he could've won, and was then filled with rage. By walking by a store with televisions on display, he saw that the championships would be having new finals for the new season. Then he saw the kid... The one he was going to defeat. The kid was going to participate again in the finals.

  Alex then decided to get revenge on the kid, for stealing his glory. Even though the kid did nothing, Alex wanted to shred him apart, tear him limb from limb.

  Alex killed a man and stole his cash, for he needed to buy a suit. After stealthily buying a suit with a chessboard-like desing and a fedora with the same desing, along with some black shoes, he was ready. Then, came the day of the championships...

  Alex beat everyone her went up against. Alex bought makeup aswell so he coukd hide his face. They did not know that his face was actually half black and half white. He also did his best to hide it. He had sunglasses to cover his black eyes

  He kept playing untill he eventually went up against the champion. The boy who took his spotlight from him.
The game went well, and after a long time, Alex won.

  He stood up and whispered "Checkmate...". Everyone felt a sence of fear. Alex then started consuming everyone with the same tentacles that consumed his first victim untill only the boy was left.

  Alex exclaimed "You took everything from me..". Hearing this, the kid said "I don't even know who you are!" In a scared tone. Alex then finally killed him amd left the scene before the police arrived.
