Chapter 3

Lucy's and Natsu's POV (meaning everthing that is said is both of them thinking the same thing...just to clarify)

I couldn't believe my eyes. In front of me was the most perfect human being I have ever laid my eyes on. I knew that class needed to start, but I couldn't look away. He/She was so mesmerizing, I basically completely forgot that other people were in the room. That is, until someone interupted my thoughts.

Lucy's POV

Mira shook me out of my thoughts and told me to come sit down. I took one last look at our English teacher, smiling a little. He smiled back, and I went to my seat next to Mira. Once I sat down, the bell rang and the teacher cleared his throat and fixed his shirt before speaking.

"Hello, class. My name is Mr. Dragneel, and I will be your new English teacher. Most of you may know why your previous one was fired, but if not, I don't care for explaining it. I'm also a very chill, lay-back teacher, so don't get on my bad side, and we'll be fine." The class laughed a little at the last part, but not me. I was too mesmerized by his gorgeous face and sexy ass voice to do anything else but stare at him. He took one quick glance at me before starting the class.

Natsu's POV

A girl who I assumed was one of her friends shook her and told her to go sit down. She looked at me and smiled. I smiled back and she went and sat down. As she was walking to her seat her nice hips shook a little, causing a little something in my pants to grow. My face flustered a little, but thankfully I don't think anyone noticed. Once she sat down, I cleared my throat and began to speak.

I did my little introduction that I did throughout the whole day, and this time people laughed. Finally! I thought to myself. Though I did notice that the blonde girl I saw before didn't laughed, but rather was thinking about something. I wish she was thinking about me...Wait what!!!!???? No, no, no Natsu! You can't think that way about a student! That will get fired and sent to jail! I thought before finaly starting the lesson.

The first thing I decided to do was introductions. Everyone in the class introduced themselves and told an interesting fact about them. I awaited for the blonde girl to introduce herself, but she was in the back so it was gonna take a while.

Finally it got to the back and it was her turn. She stood up, cleared her throat and began to speak.

"Hi, my name is Lucy..." She hesitated before continuing. "...Lucy Heartfilia and so that you guys don't ask, yes my parents own Heartfilia Inc." I was shocked. All of a sudden, I heard the girl named Lisanna yell out. "Yeah, we know who you are, you slutty rich girl!" She said and the class laughed. Lucy immetiately sat down. I then looked towards Lisanna and snarled. "Don't treat your classmates like that. My parents own Dragneel Inc., but you guys aren't rude to me about it. So don't do that to other kids. Do you understand me?" I scolded her. She just scowled, rolled her eyes and sat there, bored.

I looked back at Lucy to see her with a face of...guilt? But she has nothing to feel guilty about! I'll talk to her about it later.

The rest of the class finished and we began the lesson.

Time Skip🕟End of the day

Lucy's POV

The day was finally almost over. I was exhausted. Once the bell rang, I immetiately stood up from my chair and was about to head out before someone called my name.

"Ms. Heartfilia? Can you stay back for a bit? I need to talk to you." Mr. Dragneel said. I sighed. Then someone came up to me and whispered in my ear. "Looks like someone's in trouble." Lisanna whispered, smirking. "Ms. Strauss, you were dismissed, so go." Mr. Dragneel said. She scoffed before heading out the door. I looked back at him and walked up to his desk.

"What is it, Mr. Dragneel?" I said with basically no emotion. I just wanted to go home. "Please, call me Natsu." He said. I was confused. "But, isn't it disrespectful to-" "I don't care. I'm giving you the privilege." He intrupted me before I could finish. "Okay then." I replied. Not gonna lie, I kind of liked that he wants me to call him by his first name, but it's still pretty weird.

"So Natsu, what do you need me for?" I asked again. God, it felt weird calling him that. "I noticed today that when we were introducing ourselves you looked like you felt guilty about something. Do you want to talk about it?" He ask, concerned. Here we go. I thought.

"It was really nothing. You don't have to worry about me." I said. He still looked at me very concerned. "Lucy, I'm here to help you. You can talk to me about anything." He said, touching my hand a little before pulling it back. I sighed.

"It's just, you didn't have to defend me like that. I gotten used to the bullying. I don't care." I told him. "But I did have to. You don't deserve to be treated like that just because of your family." He reassured me. I just stayed silent. "Lucy, how long has the bullying going on?" He then asked. I sighed and looked up at him. "Since 8th grade." I said. He was shocked. "What can I say? People really don't like rich kids." I added and looked away.

I was then shocked when I felt arms rapped around me. Natsu was hugging me. "Um, Natsu?" I asked, surprised. "You're not alone, Lucy. You have you're friends and me to comfort you. And trust me, I understand how you feel. I went through the same thing in high school. Just remember that there are people here for you, alright?" He finished and released the hug. Why'd he stop? It felt nice... I thought to myself.

"Thanks. That really means a lot." I said honestly. "No problem." He answered. "Remember, if you need to talk, just come to me, okay?" He said. I nodded. Also, only call me Natsu when we're alone, okay?" He told me. "Will do." I replied and smiled. "Alright, have a good rest of your day." He said. "Thanks. You too. " I responded. "Bye, Natsu." "Bye, Lucy." We bid our farewells before leaving the classroom.

Natsu's POV

This is bad! Like really bad! But I can't help it; she's just perfect in everyway. I know it's wrong, but I can't control it! I want her all to myself, and if anyone tries to stop me, well they're goin' down. I guess it's kind of hard to tell exactly what I'm feeling, but no doubt about it...

...I definitely like Lucy...

Welp, that's the end of the chapter for ya! I hope you guys enjoyed this. I literally stayed up all night making this chapter and now I'm really tired (hopefully it was worth it, because I get real cranky when I'm tired). Anyways, Once I wake up later today, I'm gonna work on the next chapter. See ya guys!
