Chapter 10

Lucy's POV

It was later that day. All of my friends had left which was around 8 I did a few things to pass the time. I helped the servants with all the work, of course getting scolded by my dad for it.

Once it hit 11:30, everyone had already gone to sleep. I knew that if I went out the front door, someone would notice. So I went out my window. I climbed down the tree that was right next to my balcony and walked to my destination.

Once I got there, I waited. I looked at my phone and saw that it was 12:00. I then got a text from Natsu.

Baby😘: Come to the bridge in the middle of the lake

I walked to the bridge and found Natsu there, his back facing me. I decided to sneak up on him. He jumped a little and turned around to face me, his hiding his hand behind his back. I was curious but didn't look.

"Hey." He simply said. "Hey." I replied, smiling. He put something in his back pocket and took my hand. "You ready?"

I sighed and smiled. "Ready." His smile widened and he dragged me off somewhere. I laughed. We stopped at a bridge. I was confused how he had found a bridge in the middle of nowhere, but I didn't question it.

"Okay, you'll need to cover your eyes for this part." He told me.I got nervous as the bridge did not look very sturdy. "I'm not sure. Is it safe?" I asked. He smiled and took my hand from behind. "Do you trust me?" He asked. I looked at him, thought about it, sighed and smiled. "Yes, I do." His smile widened. "Then you already know the answer to that."

He grabbed onto my right hand with his and put his left hand firmly on my waist. "Close your eyes." I took a deep breathe, and closed my eyes.

He started leading me over the bridge, causing my heart to beat rapidly. "It's okay. Don't worry." He comforted me, and I calmed down. He led me over the bridge and towards an unknown location. As we continued forward, I started to hear small critters.

We began walking on what sounded like grass covered in branches and leaves. We then stopped. "Can I open my eyes?" I asked,beginning to open them. "Don't open them yet. I need to do something first." He told me, closing my eyes again. He let go of me and walked in front of me towards somewhere.

After a few minutes he came back. He grabbed me by my waist and walked me forward a little bit. "Okay, now you can open them." He told me.

I opened my eyes, which then began to water at the site. In front of me was a beautiful cabin in the woods. I was a dark oak color and looked as though it was made about 15 years ago. I looked towards Natsu.

"It's a little old, and it creaks a lot, but I tried my best to find-mmh!" I smashed my lips against his before he could finish. Almost immediately he kissed back. I put my hand on his cheek while he put his on my waist. We eventually stopped kissing. I put both of my hands on his neck.

"Thank you. This is the sweetest thing anyone has done for me." I said as I looked into his eyes, as did he mine. He smiled. "Well come on. Let's go inside." He said, taking my hand and running inside.

I was brought to a beautiful site. The inside of the cabin looked rustic, warm, comfortable. It reminded me of summer camp and how amazing it was, only this time it doesn't have infestations. I walked around and admired the view. "It's beautiful." I said. "Wait until you see the bedroom." He told me, grabbed my hand and took me there.

I looked inside. In the room was small lit candles in a trail to the bed, which was neatly made and had a heart of rose peddles. On the bedside table were more small candles and cute snacks like chocolate covered strawberries and whipped cream. There was also soft, romantic music playing.
