A month after I was sick in November, Derrick and I became official again. Official as in I'm his girlfriend he's my boyfriend. Official as in I'm wearing his Jersey starting today, since that's the first day back in school since I've became his girl Saturday.
Everythings going good right now, except I thought that maybe since I invited Michael to come over with Calum more often, he'd actually come. But he always is a no show, it's like he's ignoring me. Maybe he doesn't like me, I don't know. I just thought maybe we could become friends.
When Derrick asked me back out, it was sort of out of nowhere. We were chilling at his house with a few other Jersey's from the wrestling team and their girlfriends, and he asked me if he tried hard enough. And when I said yes, he asked me out. Which I said yes to again. I don't know how many people have heard that Derrick and I are back together, but I told Ana and Luke, plus Calum. I'm pretty sure Derrick's friends have been informed too, but who knows.
I'm driving to school right now, listening to Ed Sheeran's album 'X'. It's really good, and let me just say 'Don't' is one of the best songs I've ever heard. Not a lot of the Jerseys or the girls have listened to it, because they're more into rap and stuff, but I personally love Ed. He's like, my secret pleasure I guess.
I get out of my car once I'm in my designated parking space in the parking lot, and walk to the Jersey's spot outside, which is under this huge tree. I don't know how this became our spot, but it just is.
"Allison's here!" I hear Ana cheer as I walk up to her and the group. (A/N That rhymed aha.)
"Ana's here!" I mock her. "What's up?"
"Is it true you and Derrick are back together? Or is Luke messing with me?" Noah asks right away. No shame in his game I guess.
"Uh yeah, we are back together. Luke's not messing with you." I tell him, and then a chorus of 'I knew it's!' and 'Fuck it's' are mumbled.
"I knew you two still liked each other." Calum smirks. "And I also knew you'd realize it soon enough."
"Who realized what?" Derrick asks, oblivious to the conversation that took place before he got here.
"Calum knew you and Alli still liked each other, and he knew she'd realize it soon enough." Ana clarifies as Derrick takes his spot next to me, slinging his arm over my shoulder and pulling me into his side.
"I never stopped liking her." Derrick says, and people awe in response.
"Cheesy bastard. You make it hard to be a good girlfriend." I whisper to him as I look up at him, laughing a bit.
"Shut up, you're a great girlfriend. Are you wearing my Jersey?" He asks, and I nod my head. "Good, I want the whole world to know you're mine." He smiles.
"It's under my jacket, it's cold out so I couldn't just wear the Jersey. But don't worry, I'll take my jacket off when we get inside." I tell him. It's a big thing in Redford High to wear your boyfriends Jersey the first day you're official, unless you're like Derrick and I where we got back together during the weekend, then you wear it the first day back to school.
