Chapter 23: "something's off"
Year 2017
SHE SIGHED, leaning her head on the glass window, she started to remember those nostalgic moments of her dragging her best friend eunbi to the convenience store to buy ice cream even when it was freezing outside, but they weren't on good terms right now, heck, she didn't even want to mention her nor remember that dreadful day.
However, maybe it was a coincidence or maybe fate didn't want her to have the odds her way but, right as she thought about her, the car stopped and there she was, her hair was now in the shade of brown and she looked drop dead gorgeous.
Sighing again for the hundredth time, she lowered her head and stared at the leather seat. "i should have expected this" she mumbled as she watched mingi kissing her cheeks softly, smiling widely after.
"Hey! Stop that lovebirds, we get it, you guys love each other but please be more formal, we have a guest you know, incase you forgot mingi" san spoke and naeun froze, 'fuck'. She gripped her leg tightly, panicking.
Eunbi tried to look at her but she used her hair to block her face, she silently screamed, planning an escape route or an excuse to get out of this scene.
She felt her heart bursting inside her chest as she heard the door open, revealing eunbi as she slowly made her way beside naeun. "Hi! san's friend, i'm eunbi" she smiled widely and bowed slightly, 'it's now or never naeun' she let out a small 'fighting' and faced eunbi.
The latter covered her mouth in shock, "Hi, i'm naeun" she said, scared to look at her watery eyes. "What's the matter eunbi, why are you teary eyed? Did something happen?" san asked, a bit suspicious of their expressions, 'first it was mingi, now eunbi? What the fuck is happening right now' he thought.
"Uh sorry for asking, nevermind" he quickly diverted his sight onto the road and continued to drive.
