mom wanted to know if you, and jordan can host the new years party at your crib?

yes! that would be super fun, what did she plan on doing?

she wanted to know if we can just snack at the house and wait til the countdown.

totally, we then can just have a big breakfast in the morning:)

"alright i got news" i walked in jordan's room who was just playing with the dog as holden was sleeping.

"what's up?" i sat next to her.

"we are hosting the new years party which is actually on one day, oh my god." i said, and began to panic.

"liyah clam down, it's okay" she said, and i calmed down.

"we can go out today and buy things, there probably still gonna have the things we need!" she said, and i nodded my head and picked oreo.

"let's go to party city" i smiled. we got the things we needed, and we got our children.

"thank the lord we got a mom car," she said as we went in the range rover. i brought because we didn't really fit in the i8, we still have it but we don't use it as much. we keep it in the garage, along with jordan's we share the car sometimes.

we both sat in the front. we headed there, and we both got carts. we both wanted to be extra with the whole party.

"we need this because when it's 12 we pop and confetti comes out" i said, and she took a picture of me being weird with it.

she posted it with the '🎉' emoji. we bought a lot of things, and then loaded it into the car.

"i'm hungry you hungry?" i asked, and she nodded.

"thank god it's monday, we can get chick-fil-a" i heard her laugh. we played some music.

"COME TO BRAZIL" we yelled the lyrics to the song.

we ordered then just sat in the car in the parking lot, and jammed out in the car. we then went to the pet store.

we made oreo, and lady some cute collars. we also bought a few more things. we then finally went home, and made some plans.

"okay everything is ready, and in its place, do we let the dogs out or rom around?" jordan looked at me as i looked at our amazing set up.

"mike's family is coming, and he has young cousins so we can let them out!" i smiled.

"gavin also invited family will we have enough room for his family?" i nodded.

"jordan we live in a big house!" i said, and then remember we'll be moving somewhere else, which is a bigger house so our children can have a room because they are getting big.

"yeah, i think i'm gonna miss this house next week" i agreed. it was almost time the family will roll in.

i met mike's family, and they all loved me. we also meet gavin's they showed they loved jordan, each family loved us back.

each minute got closer to the twelve a clock mark. we were all getting excited, and i stood by mike getting ready for our new years kiss. he had layla in his arms and i had layla in mine.

jordan and gavin were doing the same but gavin was holding holden, jordan caught me looking and smiling. we both began to mouth.

"i'm excited to kiss him," she mouthed, and i nodded agreeing.

"a new year!" i mouthed back. 2020 was close by, and i was felt the tears coming. i was hoping for another year with mike.

"are you ready?" he looked at me, and it all went in slow motion, i nodded, and we all began to count down.

all you could hear was everyone yelling "happy new year" i turned to make as i was about to kiss him, but he went down on his knee, and i already felt the tears coming.

"aaliyah lee quinn, will you marry?" he said, and i was in tears at this point.

"yes, michael. i will marry you," he put on the ring on my finger, and i looked at jordan who was also crying as gavin had purpose to her too.

i hugged and kiss mike, and then went to jordan to hug her. gavin and mike hugged each other, and everyone took pictures of us, and filmed.

i went and hugged mama manfs as she was crying also because her oldest son was now engaged.

"i'm so proud of you," she said, and i cried.

"i'm proud of the son you raised even tho he has his times. i very much appreciate you so much, and i'm glad to be your daughter in law!" i said, and she cried more. i went in hugged tyler.

"hi sister," he said, and i laughed.

"hi budda," i said, and this dude is way too tall for me.

"you're official my sister," tyler said and i agreed with him.

"i love you, sister" he said, and i cried more.

"i love you too, budda" i said and i went to mikey. he had tears in his eyes, and i wiped them for him.

we hugged, and it lasted forever. well at least it seemed like it. we finished off the night. the only people who were left was mikey, me, tyler, mama manfs, gavin, jordan, and our kids, and the dogs.

"wow, we're engaged, and then we're moving. this is not what i dreamed of when i was a kid, this is better than what i wanted." i breathed.

"me too, and i'm very blessed to be here right now like thank you god. you gave me a beautiful chapter, and now there's another one." jordan said, and i nodded.

our children had fallen asleep. it was just us in the living room, we had given the guest bedroom to mama manfs who needed sleep.

"thank you, mike" i kissed him, and jordan did the same.

this year had been great, but it's also been my favourite, now i'm excited for the future.
