Yesterday Missy officially ended therapy and felt strong enough to return to a normal life. Without a psychiatrist and people filled with fears. However, she did not reject Nina - she still had contact with her.

Thinking about Nina, she thought of her friend Charlotte. Since the memorable concert of Michael Jackson, she had only sporadic contact with her. Lottie moved away from her when she read about Missy's wedding with George Michael.

What was important will not disappear from your life.

Missy went down the stairs and down the hall. She saw her in-laws and her mother sitting in the living room watching TV. Jack also read The Guardian. Ironically, Lesley and Pearl made friends. Pearl was holding Georgia in her lap and said:

— I'm telling you, Lee, twins are impossible. Deidre has become unbearable and Dakota has recently started wearing makeup.

—This is not surprising — Lesley chuckled. —Yioda started doing her make-up at the age of ten. But then Jack noticed ...

—And I made her a terrible fuss — Jack wiggled his gray eyebrows. —Can you imagine it, Pearl? My daughter, still a child and looking like lolita.

Missy rolled her eyes and went to the living room where the landline phone was. She looked at the device and picked up the phone. She dialed an international number and waited for Lottie to answer.

Eventually...

—Hello?— Charlotte asked and Missy felt her heart beat faster.

—Lottie — Missy whispered. —We haven't talked for a long time. What's up with you?

— Missy. All right. And you ... I read that you gave birth to a daughter. Congratulations, despite what you went through earlier.

Missy felt a painful prick when she thought of Leah.

—Thank you — Missy whispered. —Somehow I can, I must. I miss you.

Lottie said nothing. Then she started:

— Missy, I miss you too. But...

— But what?

— Your life has changed. It's different now.

—No — Missy clenched her hand on the receiver. —We've been friends for many years. I need you, Charlotte.

— You will always be important to me, but after this situation at the concert, I understood one thing. That I want a quiet, private life. You entered the world of famous people, and this is not for me. You are now the wife of George Michael.

—So you will break our friendship?— Missy felt her eyes moisten.

— No, but you know ... I have a new guy, Cliff, and he proposed to me three months ago.
