That was 5 years ago.
I ended up introducing Yohio to all my friends: Piko, Fukase, Flower and Oliver. It went pretty well, except for the fact they teased me about having a "boyfriend".
The whole year went by fast and before we knew it we were in high school. We all went to the same high school and stayed as a group, although we each made our own individual friends. I made two friends, a girl named Gumi and another one named Yukari.
Even with my previous friends and my new friends, The person I had gotten the closest with was Yohio. We hung out together a lot, usually going to a river in a forest near our school. We mostly just talked about things going on in life, like teachers we hate (or hate us), TV shows, Music, Problems we have, Things we find annoying, the usual stuff you talk about to a friend.
Now we're all in university. Piko and Fukase went to a different university as the rest of us, but we still keep in contact often. I talk to Flower and Oliver a lot, along with Yukari and Gumi. I have a roommate, Rin Kagamine, and I am also friends with her twin, Len. Yohio has still stayed as my best friend, although I would be lying if I said I haven't had a crush on him once. I did have a crush on him during high school, although I never mentioned it to anyone except Flower and Fukase. I knew it would never happen, he saw me as a friend and nothing more. And if he had found out it would have possibly ruined our friendship. That crush soon faded away, and I haven't had feelings for him since then.
University is alright so far. I take music courses and study performing arts. I auditioned for being part time musician at the symphony, so I play (Instrument) there. It definitely isn't easy doing both things at once, but I still manage to pull through.
Today I was meeting Piko and Fukase at the mall to help me find a birthday present for Yohio, since his birthday was coming up. I wasn't sure what guys liked for birthday presents so I needed help on that.
I drove to the mall where we agreed to meet at. Once I arrived I spotted Fukase leaning against the wall, gazing at the sky somewhat boredly.
I parked my car in the parking lot and ran over to Fukase.
"Hey stupid!" I greeted him with my usual nickname for him.
He turned to look at me. "Hey slowpoke. Where were you? Making out with Yohio? He smirked.
I glared at him. "No! And I'm right on time. You're just early."
Fukase rolled his eyes. "Whatever you say. Have you heard from Piko yet?" He asked.
"No. He's probably going to be late, like always." I replied. "I think we should wait a little for him."
Fukase sighed. "Alright. Just 10 minutes. I'm getting bored talking to you here and I want to go inside."
I ignored his little comment and checked my phone for any messages or calls from Piko. Nothing.
We ended up waiting 16 minutes and were about to go inside until Piko showed up covered in sweat and out of breath.
"What happened to you?" Fukase immediately questioned. I nodded, wondering the same thing.
Piko took a moment to catch his breath and then replied.
"Well, I took the bus here and I had taken off my headphones and accidentally left them there. So when I got off I realized I didn't have them, and I had to chase the bus since it already started leaving."
