Also when it comes to your hair, imagine it as Princess Peach's hair, but in whatever style, color, and length you want it.
After turning 18, you finally had enough of Toadsworth trying to teach you how to properly behave like a real princess and not act like the rowdy, disobedient little tomboy you are, so you decided to leave your lavish style at the Mushroom Kingdom (despite toadsworth nagging you to not leave the castle) and venture out into the mysterious lands on your own for the very first time to start a new Kingdom of your very own.
Eventually you come across the underground tunnels that were deep below the Mushroom Kingdoms surface. And within the underground tunnels you found that there were all different kinds of creatures roaming around, such as Choombas (Tall goomba shaped metal furnaces that eat coal to gain more strength) and Coalbits (Those tiny bits of coal with sharp pincers for teeth)
And despite all their efforts to scare you away from their habitat, using your unbelievable strength and intimidation tactics, you managed to force these pathetic mortals to become your loyal servants, finally becoming the Princess of the underground~
Also for story purposes we're going to pretend that Bowser started going after Princess Peach after (Y/n) moved out of her castle, so that's why both Her and Hot Cheeto Lizard boy are unfamiliar to seeing each other for the first time.
And then many years have passed so now Mario and Luigi had to drag ur lazy butt to the important meeting at Peach's castle and that's where ur story begins~
