the father of one's father or mother.

Third Person

Kaden observed his sleeping wife in his arms. It was rather unbelievable to him that he had gotten married, he had never thought that he would find a woman who was able to fulfill all the duties of a Donna, much less that he would marry. But it had happened, and he loved every second of it.

So focused on his gorgeous wife, he rarely even acknowledged a female trying to make a move on him. It was not like Alessia did not gain attention, she did and sometimes -most times- it was more attention than Kaden appreciated. The disadvantages of being a beautiful couple.

The week in Greece had passed quicker than Alessia imagined, and when Kaden told her that this was their last night she was sad, but got over it quickly as she thought of seeing Winter again. She had missed her best friend insanely. Kaden left her to believe that the plane they would board the next morning would take them back home to the States, that was not the destination of their plane ride though.

Being the surprisingly amazing husband he was, he had arranged for them to make a quick visit to Italy and then France, in order to get back to the roots. Alessia had only been in France once, her grandmother usually visited them in Arizona and not the other way around. That one time she was in France, she was also in Italy to pay a very fast visit to her mother's side of the family.

He closed his eyes and held her closer to him falling asleep slowly, he never slept before her and never woke up after her.

"God, I'm getting sick of these planes." She groaned leaning over to Kaden who sat in his own comfortable, black, leather chair of his plane.

"You'll survive, baby."

"No, I don't think I will. Kiss it better."

He chuckled giving in and kissing her slowly just to tease her. It worked until she pulled back smiling, "thanks."

Alessia picked up her head from his lap and leaned back in her own seat. She reached around for her headphones, finally finding them as Kaden opened up his laptop and began working on a few files.

"Are we making a stop?" She asked Kaden when she saw that only two hours passed and they had over ten back to the states.

"Sí."

"Welcome to Italy,"

Alessia laughed. "Is this your thing now?"

Before—

"ITALY?"

"Sí."

The woman was bubbling over with excitement on the inside, grinning widely as she held her husband's hand tightly. It had been a very long time since she had last visited, she was always sad that her parents never allowed her to come with on their trips. And that they never let her travel.

On the way to the place where they would stay, Alessia kept looking out of the window at the beautiful landscapes and different sceneries they passed. They drove on streets atop of mountains and it only seemed to get more breathtakingly picturesque, the higher they drove.

"Kaden—" she gasped. "You rented this entire mansion? This one is like the double of the one in Jersey!"

He bent down and whispered in her ear, "Why would I pay rent to myself?"

A chuckle flew past his lips at her expression that somewhat resembled a fish, he led her forward and into the villa. "You'll meet someone very important tonight."
