Life was perfect for you on Earth. You always had the most perfect grades and the best of friends. You were adored by people at your school and your parents had loved you so dearly.

But here you were, sitting beside your best friend underneath a willow tree on a hill near your school. You two had grown so close together that not even the biggest of fights meant the end of your relationship.

You guys had been talking about something random, as you usually would when you felt your phone vibrate in your hand. Why it was there at that point is because you wanted to prove him wrong with a statement he had make a couple minutes ago.

A quick glance at the message pop up, you already knew you had to go home. Immediately a frown came up to your face. You just loved being out here, with your best friend at your side, talking about stuff that nobody would really care about.

"(Y/n), is everything okay?" He caught on quickly and asked gently. He always shared your pain with parting ways, even only for a bit.

"Yeah, just fine." You replied calmly then continued a bit disappointed, "I just have to go home now. My parents will probably be mad if I didn't. You know how it's like." You smiled at him warmly with your response.

"Well, that doesn't mean you don't have to not smile. I mean come on! Everyone looks so much better with a smile anyways. But yeah, my dads been nagging at me for about a half an hour now." He joked. I got up laughing while he made his jokes. They were always the best, but I'm pretty sure he was also being serious because he also got up as well.

"Oh so you were serious for once, that's new." You commented playfully nudging his shoulder and picking up your bags. All you heard him do was a small 'heh'.

Once you both got your bags together, you and him said your goodbyes, expecting to see the other again the following morning. You both hugged each other, because that's what you did since you were kids. You on your tippy-toes as always.

"Stay safe, okay?" He always worried because you lived in a quite rowdy neighbourhood. You nodded and let go still smiling at him. Then you waved one last time and headed toward the direction of your house.

(Small time skip)

You neared the last block to your house. Walking for about twenty minutes, as a rough guess, you felt that there was something off with being right where you were then and there. Pushing away the feeling, you kept walking until you were able to see your house, then stopped to look behind you for anything suspicious.

About ten seconds later you spot a car going way over speed for this kind of area heading your way. You put it out of your mind and continued walking. It started to gain speed getting closer. You ignored it. It was getting dangerously close. You looked back, and suddenly..

.

It went black. Just for a few moments it seemed everything was peaceful and quiet. Something that hasn't happened in a little while.
