Just as quickly as it came, it was gone. You were now laying on a hospital bed rolling into a surgery most likely. You just barely opened your eyes to see you were in a hospital.

Everything hurt and you couldn't move. Your mother was running with the doctors beside your bed until they passed some doors she wasn't allowed to pass.

It was stressful and horrible the things they did to you in the surgery were. But all to try and save you life, so it was even, sort of. You could now hear your heart rate on a monitor attached to you, it used to be one of the most calming sounds in the world to you, but now it was just life or death.

They tried to keep you awake for the surgery. You turned your head slightly towards the glass window set up so family can see their loved ones. They were all in tears, your mother, father, younger brother and sister. Even your best friend had came to join them. Along with his father. This was so hard for you to watch. Your heart basically broke into a million pieces.

That being said, it's almost like it did. As the doctors procedure went on, your heart rate began to slow. Everyone had noticed this.

The main surgeon was spitting out orders to the other side people, your mother started majorly panicking now while your father tried his best to clam her down. You saw your brother and sister both look at you without understanding of what was going on.

And lastly, your friend. Most people couldn't tell that he cared for this that much, but you knew different. As you locked eyes with him, you could see the pain was so intense, he has to be using all of his courage to be there right then. So it was quite understandable when you seen him not crying, unable to control his action right at this point.

Hearing the heart monitor beeping slower and slower, still looking at the people who love you, feeling the weight of your body get heavier and heavier by the second, you knew your time was almost up. The doctors wouldn't give up though, even though they didn't know.

One last thing you desperately needed to do before going.. You kept your eyes on your best friend the whole time... Tears started to flood his vision as the chaos suggested what was going to happen next.

*Beep*

You smiled at him.. weakly as it broke your heart to see his in such pain...

*Beep* It seemed to get louder...

Nothing other to do, you used up the last of your strength to mouth these words to him..

*Beep* It got louder...

'Don't forget... to smile..'

*Beep* It was louder...

'My dearest...'

*Beep* It grew louder...

'Alastor...'

It went silent. Darkness encased your vision. You heard your heart flat line. Then nothing else. Felt a few more revival beats.. then nothing... You lost the life everyone only gets once. The perfect one.
