He glanced over his shoulder and gave her a soft nod proceeding hop on Reshiram. She who stood on the center of the podium alone and sorrowful

"Hilda ... you said you have a dream... That dream.. Make it come true. Wonderful dreams and ideals give you the power to change the world.. If anyone can, it's you..."  (N, B&W)

Hilda opened her eyes, where a tear trickled down her face.  With a slightest footstep  a voice filled her ears.

The voice neared calling her name through the hollow halls.

Quickly she wiped her tears fearing anyone would see her in such a vulnerable state.

Running, a man came into the castle Chamber, "Hilda! There you are, I was looking all over for you, You know this place is off limits -it can come tumbling down any second" he scolded.

She glanced over her shoulder and observed a man who served as her Champion mentor.  Surprised to see Alder here her glossy eyes made its way to his "Alder it's okay... I'm fine" she muttered "Hilda...what are you doing here" he sighed.

To say my final good-bye Alder...

"I'-I'm ...just,  thinking... I guess" she shrugged her shoulders, observing the giant hole in the wall from years ago. Her back facing him, he sighed "he's never coming back..." he said, placing his hand on her shoulder.

His words hurt her to the core, will he ever come back ... has he completely forgotten about his promise...

"Alder... I don't want to talk about it..."

"look kid, you did what you could, he decided to go" he gazed at the redness of her eyes.

"Maybe... if only I told him how I really felt then, he'd still be here" Hilda's eyes trailed away, regretful filling her body.

"It would have been hard to understand, it would have been hard for Unova to understand their hero with the person they called the enemy" Alder explained.

It wouldn't matter to me...

In silence they both listened to the gushing air as the hole still permeated throughout the years.

Alder noticed how tears creeped out her eyes as she tightened her fists. "Kid, you waited, you moved on and that's okay. I know it's with my troubled grandson, but... you did... it's over."

Upon his words he turned facing him, completely ignoring his comment she stood silent, clenching her jaw resisting from losing control.

"I suppose you heard the news, and that's why you came looking for me," she stated, pretending to clear dust from her eyes. "Losing isn't always the end, but a new beginning"

"Alder... I'm content to be the longest Champion to ever hold a spot in Unova... I'm fine" Hilda said firmly, taking a seat on the step.

"Hilda, I can tell when you're lying to me and frankly your 'I'm fines' are getting quite old" he said taking a seat next to her.

Hilda fumbled with her shirt and sighed, "Although, I'm happy for Iris, I can't help but feel defeated... that's why I'm here, I wanted to visit the very place that gave me a chance to see what I can really do."

"You are the hero of Unova, not many can say that" he states.

Hilda gave a small smile knowing beside his mentor duties, he acted like a father she never had. "I'm sure your mother would have a fit" he chuckled, tossing a pokéball at me.

Hilda chuckled at his remark as he personally knew her mother was always behind her career.

"What's this?" Hilda questioned, looking at him confused.

"It's your old friend... I have ways of convincing the Region Board" he snickered. Confused, Hilda squinted as she gently shook the pokeball.

"No...No!" she beamed releasing the Pokemon in the Chamber, out came her old pal Zekrom with his massive stature and glowing blue light, fueling his energy.

Upon Zekrom's loud roar, she ran up to Alder giving him a big Ursaring hug. "Thank you so much... I know it must've been difficult as I recall myself being a tad bit reckless when I was fifteen huh" she laughed giving him a light shove.

"Ahh, don't worry about it kid, now that you're twenty-one we don't have to worry about that... do we?" he raised his eyebrow.

"It won't happen again... scouts honor!" Hilda saluted giving him a wide smile.

With Zekrom's loud roar, Hilda embraced her Pokémon as much as she could. I missed you so much buddy, glad to have you back...

"You know I think it's about time to put him back in that Pokeball of yours" Alder suggested observing the pieces of debris falling from the ceiling.

"Aw c'mon Alder can't handle a little dust" Hilda smirked petting her beloved Pokémon.

"Now, now don't make me take away that Pokemon of yours" he joked. With Zekrom's loud roar in response to Alder's comment, he backed off.

"Okay... okay, just be careful we don't want the whole city to be alarmed because you have a large Pokemon" "got it Alder!" Hilda sang. "Let's head back and face the crowd full of reporters, ready?" he gestured.

"Ready, c'mon Zekrom get in the Pokeball" Hilda said. Zekrom stood still holding something.

She observed as Zekrom grunted and turned, strange he never does that... "Zekrom, are you okay?" Hilda questioned with her puzzled look.

"Hilda, look," Alder added, pointing to Zekrom 's electrical body. "Zekrom's body reacts when ... Reshiram is near" Alder petted Zekrom's tough exterior.

"That means.." Hilda's eyes widen running to her pokemon. "Zekrom, what are you trying to say" she stood in front of her large Pokémon with electrical currents surrounding him.

Zekrom's large red eyes lowered placing something on the floor "a white feather? ....Reshiram..." she mumbled observing the feather.

"Is it possible? ... Alder?" she gave him the feather "Hilda, I'm no flying-type expert, but I'm pretty sure it's possible... considering his body is reacting" he said returning the feather to Hilda.

"He must be here right? He's in Unova?" her eyes shimmered, smiling at her mentor "Hilda... you're with someone. Even if I don't get along with him, I don't want him to get hurt. Be clear about your feelings Hilda" his words hit her like a truck and completely shattered the bit of hope she had left.

What am I thinking, I AM with someone, it's not fair to him...

"you're right Alder, I'm sorry... I should probably head out anyway" Hilda's face fell, grabbing her bag she followed Alder. Not before, taking one last glance back knowing it would be the last time she was there.

"Farewell N..."
