"Sweetheart, Gotham's survival of the fittest, not the richest"
Oliver walked down the streets of Gotham he needed some air after having to process all the information Felicity threw at him and Dig, but surprisingly Dig didn't freak out as much. He was surprised obviously but after a couple of minutes, he understood. Just like the time Oliver did it to him back when Team Arrow was nothing more than one vengeful vigilante with a babysitting bodyguard and a blonde tech nerd who was left in the complete dark.
But Oliver couldn't wrap his head around it, Felicity was the one person besides Dig that Oliver could trust and in actuality, he knew nothing about her.
Not her name, not her background, and not her family.
"Well, well, another rich boy" a voice drawled out snapping Oliver out of his thoughts, "must be my lucky day" Selina smirked leaping down from her spot on the fire escape.
"Who are you?" Oliver asked eyeing the woman in front of him she was wearing a black full-body suit that showed off her curves and she had a cat-like mask on that let her brown hair freely flow down her shoulders.
"How sweet" Selina muttered taking a step closer to him, "the name's Catwoman a pleasure I'm sure" she smiled flicking her hair to the side for dramatic effect.
"Oliver Queen."
"Oh, I know dear," Selina assured. "Only a rich playboy who doesn't belong here doesn't know, not to be in the streets of Gotham all by themselves," she explained encircling him.
"I think I can protect myself," Oliver ground out.
"Mmhmm," Selina nodded.
A scream ripped through the alleyway making Oliver's basic instincts kick in but before he could race towards the danger instead of away from it Selina grabbed him, Oliver tried pushing past her but the kitty dug her nails into his arm stopping him.
"Let me go," Oliver growled.
"Now where do you think you're going, pretty boy?" Selina laughed pushing him backward. "This is Gotham, sweetheart, not Starling City you're going to get yourself killed."
"I can protect myself," Oliver repeated glaring at her, "aren't you one of this city's heroes, why aren't you-"
"Hero?" Selina scoffed. "I ain't no hero, darling, I'm one of this city's many villains" she stated amusement clear on her face, "I mean do I look like a bat?"
"What?" Oliver asked in frustration.
The sound of metal banging in the distance caught their attention pausing the two's relentless back and forth.
Off to the side on the fire escape knelt a shadow that slowly started to stand up, the dim Gotham sunlight showing off a black suit and long, blonde hair.
