Part 13: Not so 'first kiss'

Before we entered the cafeteria we dropped our held hands and were instantly greeted by panicked but also annoyed Kakyoin and Ren. Ren hugged me and then pouted grumpily looking directly into my eyes, "you're so late! Did you get into a fight again?" She asks in a worried/annoyed tone looking me over for any injuries, "not really...But I reeeally wanted to deck a bitch in the face" I say with an eye roll. "so what happened then that made you so late for lunch? It's unlike you to miss out on the break." Kakyoin looks at me questioningly, "weelll....where do I start?" I drag out my words while looking up at Jotaro. He shrugs pulling his hat over his eyes, "yare yare daze...." he hums deep. I noticed that his ears turn slightly pink which made me pull a cheeky grin as I stared deeper at him. 'I love it when he gets flustered'.
Kakyoin and Ren silently stared confusingly back and forth at the both of us until I giggled. Rolling my eyes at Jotaro I looked back at the confused pair.

"oook so....some bitch wrote me a threat note saying that 'Jojo is miiiine'" I say bored tone while rolling my wrist, signalling 'nothing out of the norm'.

Both Kakyoin and Ren inched closer in anticipation, "anyways, a bunch of bitches confronted me and were in my face calling me a 'slut', saying that they'd ruin my life and OH and that 'my parents probably didn't know I sucked dick and that's the only reason I pass my classes" I say rolling my eyes at the stupid accusation. Kakyoin and Ren both gasp with the added "no way! Then what?!". "So I told them straight up that my parents were dead." I say with a laugh then sigh. "You'd think they'd fuck off after telling them that, right? Nope! They continued to press on that 'Jojo is mine' shit" I facepalm. "So I obviously got really pissed off! They kept fucking push me about the same shit!" My voice raises slightly in frustration. Kakyoin and Ren nod aggressively not saying anything just wanting me to continue. "So I asked them what they've done for Jotaro apart from giving him a headache, basically" I say shrugging, shaking my head while both Kakyoin and Ren laughed, Jotaro hums and nods in agreement.

I laugh with them at the ridiculousness of the event then sigh twirling a finger in my hair in embarrassment. "Then Jotaro jumped in..." I say looking up at Jotaro who was now looking at me, waiting for me to continue. I look back to the now very curious audience, "he said that they had no right to claim him like that...and um" I say feeling my face get really hot nervous about continuing. "And? Aaand??" They say leaning in eyes sparkling while also side eyeing Jotaro. "He said that.. um...that...if he could be with anyone he'd-" I quickly try to say but "I said I'd want to be hers" Jotaro finishes, grabbing my head and smooshing it his side. "Yare yare... it's not that hard to say." He grumbles softly.

Kakyoin and Ren's jaw were hanging in shock, "omg really?!" Ren shouts excitedly looking Jotaro and back at me, "what'd you say!?" She asks hopping on the spot. "I said, well then he's mine now! You know...to get them to leave us alone!" I shout while squishing my face onto Jotaro's side trying to hid my embarrassment. Kakyoin smirks at us while Ren clung to Kakyoin's arm jumping excitedly, "so what does that mean for you two? You together now?" Kakyoin asks sneakily while Ren waits impatiently with a huge dorky grin on her face, ('she must be a hopeless romantic'). I freeze and I could feel Jotaro tense up at the question.

I move away slowly looking up at Jotaro. His face was as stoic as ever, but turquoise eyes stared softly but worryingly into my eyes, I could feel his heart pounding impatiently for my answer. "Yeah." I say breathlessly. I could feel Jotaro relax as his arm grips my shoulder shakily, a blush and a twitchy smile formed on his face. I could tell he was fighting the urge to squish me into a bear hug me. I look back at the two and cough to clear my crackly voice, "yes" I say clearer.
