"Time travel without a TARDIS is not very good," I mutter to myself as I appear in an alleyway next to a school, I read the description that River gave me and I laugh.

"Oh god, so all I know is that The Doctor, Rose, Mickey, and Sarah Jane Smith are here investigating," I say to myself and remove my vortex manipulator and place it in my bag next to my Sonic Pen and Sonic Camera and pull out a normal black pen and pad of paper and walk inside the school, asking for directions to the Principles office.

"Excuse me, Mr. Finch, this reporter is here to see you," one of the teachers say as we stand outside his office, I hear him say yes so I walk inside with a fake smile on my face.

"Hello, Mr. Finch, My name is Elizabeth Harper and I am a reporter for an American Newspaper, my report is about how wonderful school's are here in the UK and how great their students are doing in their classes," I say and he nods with a thoughtful look on his face.

"Of course Miss Harper, please follow me so that I can introduce you to the teachers that you can interview," he says and I nod and follow him to the Staff lounge once he gets up from his desk.

"Miss Harper, this is Sarah Jane Smith, she is also here to do an interview," Mr. Finch says and I nod my head as I smile at Sarah Jane who smiles back and we shake hands.

"My improvements aren't confined to the classroom, no, no, we've introduced a new policy here, School dinners are absolutely free, but compulsory. Do try the chips," Mr. Finch explains and we nod.

"We'd love to, thank you, and its got to be said, the transformation you've brought about, it's amazing, I mean, maybe your working the children a little bit too hard now and then, but I think good results are more important than anything," Sarah Jane says and I agree with her.

"Exactly," I say and Sarah Jane smiles at me.

"You are women of great vision, Miss Smith, Miss Harper," he says and we nod.

"We can see everything Mr. Finch... quite clearly," Sarah Jane says as she looks around and makes eye contact with me, hoping that I would understand, I nod and she sighs in relief.

"Excuse me, colleagues, a moment of your time, May I introduce Miss Sarah Jane Smith and Miss Elizabeth Harper. Miss Smith is a journalist who is writing a profile about me for the Sunday times while Miss Harper is doing a report of the schools here in the UK for an American newspaper, I thought it might be useful for them to get a view from the trenches, so to speak, don't spare my blushes," Mr. Finch says and then leaves, I then spot The Doctor at the same time Sarah Jane does.

"Hello," she says to him and I can already see the goody looking smile on his face appearing.

"Oh, I should think so," The Doctor says and I shake my head and play along.

"And you are?..." I ask in fake confusion and he snaps out of his daze once he sets his eyes on me.

"Hmm? Er, Smith. John Smith," he says.

"John Smith! I see to have a friend that sometimes went by that name," she says and I sigh with a light sad look on my face.

"Well, it's a very common name," he says and I shake my head with silent laughter.

"He was a very... uncommon man, nice to meet you," Sarah Jane says as she moves forward to shake his hand.

"Nice to meet you, yes, very nice, more than nice, Brilliant," he says and I finally step forward.

"So, have you worked here long?" I ask and he turns his attention to the both of us.

"No, um, it's only my second day," he says and I see the surprise on Sarah Jane's face.
