(Y/N) finds herself somewhere unfamiliar... it's dark... the only light there only barely illuminates the ground just beneath her feet... feet... hold on, as (Y/N) examines what she can of herself, she doesn't exactly recognize herself... she's sure that it's her... but it's as though she's a different person altogether... she notices a presence next to her, she turns to look but only sees a silhouette in blue flame... whoever they are their presence is comforting, and familiar... suddenly the scene around her changes, it's pouring rain and lighting seems to be striking all around her... she clearly hears every clap of thunder. (Y/N) feels the rain beating down on her shoulders as she feels that familiar presence again... this time somewhere in front of her... though this time the presence feels weak... (Y/N) starts running in the direction of the presence, determined to find them.
"...(Y/N)...? No, stop!! Don't-!"
(Y/N)'s eyes dart open and she finds herself staring at the ceiling of her bedroom... she blinks twice as she tries to comprehend the strange dream she just had... she glances towards the window next to her, it seems pretty dark and gloomy through the curtains... "must still be early..." (Y/N) whispers to herself... she holds her hand over her face, her eyes glow with the faintest light as she looks at her fate ties... they're are all there, each ribbon leading off in some unknown direction... and the crimson one still sits on her pinky with seemingly no one bound to it... "yup... everything's normal..." (Y/N) allows the ribbons to fade from her view as she snuggles back up under the covers and attempts to go to sleep again.

"urgh... no..." (Y/N) groans and rolls over onto her side pulling her blanket over her head as she hears her doorbell ring.

"Ugh... why is she here so early...?" (Y/N) mumbles, recognizing the pattern of spammed doorbell ringing as her best friend Nina as she pushes herself up to sit, rubbing the sleep from her eyes. It's not uncommon for Nina to show up out of the blue like this, but (Y/N) feels as though it's way too early for Nina to drop by. (Y/N) yawns and then glances at the electric clock on her bedside table... "twelve fifteen..." she mumbles groggily before the time actually clicks in her mind "Wait, what!? How did it get so late!" (Y/N) shouts as she springs up from her bed and starts heading downstairs to meet her friend, quickly running her fingers through her hair in an attempt to smooth out her bed-head.
"Morning, sleepyhead!!" Nina, a cherry blond haired and blue eyed fireball, shouts with a bright smile as (Y/N) opens the door. "Hi, Nina." (Y/N) replies with an awkward smile. "I hope you don't mind that I brought everybody by, but we found something that seemed fun that we wanted to try!" as Nina says that (Y/N) only just notices that Nina's brought along Christi, a gentle person with long brown hair and hazel eyes, and Ryo, a human tornado with bleached blonde hair and green eyes, the two of them wave at (Y/N) as she notices them. "I don't mind at all! Come on in guys!" (Y/N) steps out of the way and lets her friends walk in, noting that Christi is holding a large book that she recognizes instantly. After closing the door (Y/N) turns to Christi and asks. "You guys stole one of my Grandma's old books again?" "Not stolen, borrowed." Ryo comments, raising a finger as well as his eyebrows, (Y/N) rolls her eyes "I'm guessing the 'fun thing' you found is something in there?" (Y/N) says gesturing to the book in Christi's arms, only barely noticing that Nina and Ryo have disappeared off into the house. Christi nods "Yeah, sorry for taking the book without permission." she says quietly. "No worries, Christi. So what is this thing?" "w-well..." Christi begins but she's quickly interrupted by Nina, who's arms are overflowing with just about every candle (Y/N) owns. "We're tryin' to summon somethin!" (Y/N) suddenly tenses up "Wait... summon?" Ryo appears next with an armful of string "yup!" he walks over to stand next to Nina "We're looking to make a contract with some helpful entity!" Nina and Ryo then crouch down and start assembling, what (Y/N) can only assume to be their summoning circle, Christi opening the book to the page they're looking to use. "why did you need to do this at my house??" (Y/N) interrogates. "You're the only one who has enough candles!" Ryo exclaims as he arranges the string in a specific design. "Well... I guess you're not wrong." (Y/N) peeks over Christi's shoulder and skims the page they're drawing from... mostly she just sees a load of warnings and details about demons and all of it just makes her anxious... "guys... maybe you... shouldn't do this..." (Y/N) suggests, legitimately worried about the risks in this ritual. "whaat!?" Nina shouts looking back up at (Y/N) "C'mon (Y/N) don't be such a buzzkill!" Ryo whines "I... I'm sure it'll be fine..." Christi says, turning to (Y/N) with an apologetic smile as Ryo and Nina procede to blatantly ignore (Y/N)'s apparent anxiety and start lighting the candles they've placed one by one.
