"Clear your head, Quin." "Yes, Master." The older man just sighed, looking at the white haired Padawan.. "Ask away, I know you have questions." "You mean, why we're going to a place where you know you'll be shot at? Yeah, just a few."

Sokka just smiled briefly, looking away from Quin. "We know it's coming, and you and I are both prepared. We just have to catch the bounty hunters, that was the plan." "And the council sent us here to deal so they can deal with the Senator's protection after the explosion at the pad." Quin began, and Sokka just raised his hand to cut him off. "We're here. DA-1 is ready to land when we need him too." "Yes, Master."

Both men waited until the cruiser was empty before getting off, and Quin tapped his foot restlessly. "Master, what now? We wait for a bullet to fly by?" "Yes, we do." He answered as they walked off the transport. Quin looked around, seeing nothing but sand. "Seriously? I see why bounty hunters stay here- It's hell." "It's in the outer rim- Out of reach of the Republic. Slaverly runs rampant here, it's a terrible place. So, yes, it's hell."

Quin just shrugged, looking back at the ship. "You said that DA-1 was ready to land? Where is he?" "Sandstorm, Quin. He's hovering." "You sure? He does like to make a lot of noi-"

Quin was cut off by a gunshot, and they both moved. Sokka shot his hand up, stopping the bullet as Quin took off towards the sound.

"Quin-" Sokka began, but let the boy run as he contacted the ship. Quin vanished into the sandstorm, igniting his saber to provide him light. He looked around, seeing the two human figures. As he walked closer, he realized it was two girls, a redhead and a kid with pink hair.

"Drop your weapons." Quin said, noticing the two girls looks. The redhead seemed scared, one hand out so that the pinked haired girl had some distance. The redhead was the one with the blasters, and a bag he assumed had a sniper in it from the size. She looked about 18, while the pink haired one seemed much younger.

"She's a kid, let her go. This was my job, she doesn't deserve to be on trial." The redhead pleaded, and Quin froze. "Wait- Trip." Trip, the redhead, just shushed the other girl, her gray eyes never leaving Quins.

Quin looked at the girls, feeling how scared they were. He also could tell that even if he said no, the redhead would try and buy her some time anyways. He looked between them, lowering his saber.

"She can go, but you have to stay." He said, pointing at Trip. " Just, graze my arm and tackle me, give her time to run before Master S- before my Master comes." She nodded, not hesitating to shoot just past his arm, burning his robes and a little bit of skin. Quin bit his lip to not make a noise, tossing his lightsaber aside. He watched as the pinked haired kid made a run for it, but the redhead was on top of him before he could really react, and he tried to push her off out of instinct.

She didn't let him go, but he saw her toss her blaster away. He tried to push her off again, but she elbowed him in the face and twisted his arm. Quin then tried to use the force, but he froze when she pulled a knife out, pressing it against his neck. "Don't try any-" She was cut off by a force throwing her off of him, and Quin just laid his head on the ground.

"Quin, get up. Restrain her, and do it quickly. The ship is landing now." Sokka ordered. "Yes, Master." Quin got up, shaking some sand out of his hair while Sokka continued with the redhead. "Girl, take your gear off." They both watched as she unbuckled her belt, handing it to the Jedi, along with her jacket with a glare. The Jedi nodded to Quin, who walked over to Trip using stun cuffs to restrain her.

"I thought the informant said we'd find a group, not just one girl." He asked, looking at her. "Why are you alone?" Quin took her arm, watching as her face went pale. "This was a trap? I-I Have to get back, you have to let me go!" She cried out, trying to get out of the cuffs. Quin looked at Sokka, who didn't share his worried look. "Master..." "Take her to the ship. We're going to Coruscant."

"No, you have to let me go back, please!" She started, but Quin just pulled her along as Sokka led the way to the ship. She fought most of the way there, but all three made it to the ship. Sokka headed to the cockpit, while Quin restrained the girl to a bar, letting her sit down before so she'd be a little more comfortable. They sat in silence as the ship left the planet.

"Why'd you let her- Ari, go? Your master or whatever said you were waiting for a crew, so why let one of us run?" She asked, breaking the silence after a few moments. Quin just smiled, looking at her. "Not cause I like kids, if that's what you thought." She just scoffed at his answer, so he leaned forward. "Honestly? I don't know. I've been in a similar place before, I know the fear that you both felt. I'm not big on people being afraid of me." "I think you picked the wrong profession, the lightsaber kinda just makes people fear you." Quin just shrugged, standing up.

"I know we can't really shake hands, but I'm Quin." She looked at him for a moment. "I'm not one for formalities, but I'm Trip. I'd say it's nice to meet you, but i'm not going to go that far." She mumbled then last part, laying her head against the wall.

Quin just looked at her for a moment, then got up as Sokka entered the room. The Jedi Master seemed annoyed as he walked over to Trip, watching as the girl tried to back into the wall.

"Where is your tracker, and who's following us." He demanded, and Quin noticed how confused she looked. "I don't have a tracker, so I don't know." "She's telling the truth, Master." Quin spoke as Sokka turned to him, watching the old man pace.

The sound and force of something, most likely a blast hitting the ships force field, caused Quin and Sokka to fall into the wall. A quiet alarm went off, and Sokka stood up quickly, opening the door to the cockpit.

"Get us out of here, DA!" Quin yelled while helping Trip who had just been harshly moved from the impact due to being cuffed. "It's no use- all droids follow a pattern. That's how most hunters can shoot down ships easily, some people have this program that'll predict the movements. A real person needs to fly, that'll get them off your asses if it's a hunter." Trip said, standing up and holding onto the bar as best she could. Another blast hit the field, and Sokka moved into the cockpit, taking the controls.

Quin thought quickly before running off, leaving Trip attached to the wall. He looked out one of the windows, seeing an oddly shaped ship. He ran back into the main area, looking at Trip.

"It's a weird shaped ship, kinda red and rusty looking. Ring any bells?" He asked, and her face went white. "If it's who I think it is, the blaster has a tracker on it. Toss it into a pod and shoot it out, hopefully that's what he goes after." She got out, and he just grabbed her stuff from the floor, taking the sniper blaster in its bag to an escape pod.

Quin could feel she was just as scared as they were, so he trusted her. He set the pod to head back to Tatooine, getting out before the doors sealed and it left the ship.

After a few more blasts, the attacker left the ship alone. Trip sighed in relief, sliding back down to a sitting position on the floor. Quin just leaned on the wall, waiting for Sokka to come out. He did after a few moments, looking at Quin.

"They followed the escape pod back to Tatooine, but our shields are down. Coruscant is still far, but we can make it if we are not attacked again." He stated, looking at Trip.

"She didn't know, Master. I think she knows more now." "Good, then she can tell us who and why." Sokka responded, walking to the girl. Trip just stared at him, shaking her head. "I'm not talking. I don't have a deathwish, idiot."

"Fine. Then you can talk to the Senate, and rot in jail." Quin looked between his Master and Trip, who looked a little scared now.

"I know about Darth Tyranus or whoever he is." She blurts, and Sokka suddenly looked shocked. Quin looked to his Master. "Who is that, Master?" "Head to the Temple, DA. Alert Windu we need to have a conversation with our detainee."
