Powers of Spirit Animal

I stood there in front of a huge crowd of my classmates.
It was an empty ground.

Noah was standing there too.  He said he will not miss it for the world and come to support me.  Alex also came which was Surprise and he is always so busy.

Ryan stood there smiling and waving at me. He came to cheer me on. I gave a shy wave at him too.

William, Max and Olivia had already done with these test.

William spirit animal was a white fox. His spell performance was flawless and got top grades as expected from him.

Max had summoned a turtle.  Olivia summon a sweet cute rabbit.

Now it was my turn.

"Remember to focus your energy and channel it with the summoning spell." Mr. Adrian said to me.

I nodded.

Most people whispered and cried in worry. Most were scared of me.

I tried to ignore it and focused on my spell.
I took a deep breath and started channelling my energy.

You can do it scar! Just focus remember what Ryan said, see what you have gained not lost. Present is a gift not past.

I made a psi ball and repeated the spell  William taught me.

My hands light up with the flame and i started to glow.
The flames started to burst out. I got worried.

The face of my family came to mind.
Some of the student screamed in fear.

"You can do it scar!" Noah said to me.

"Remember Scarlet its all in you..." Ryan said.

Get it together scar. Control it.
I closed my eyes and thought present is a gift and repeated it.

Then I understood the meaning if it.
Present is a gift.
And I remember the happy times from the time i came into this academy. Meeting Olivia my best friend and all the 5 guys.

I am happy to have meet them. They are my gift.
I calmed down and let my power flow.

I opened my eyes and saw my power compressed into the psi ball. The spell was complete and the psi ball formed, a cocoon of pure energy.

The ball broke and from inside it a bird came out. It was the most beautiful and rare exotic creature i have seen. It had golden yellow and red feather and burning flame at its tail like my power.

Everyone was awed.
A least i passed The Awakening stage.! I am relieved.
I picked it up, and it snuggled in my arms. It liked me. Its flames didn't hurt me at all.

"I will call you Ella..." i named the bird. Its spirit logo was different from all others.

"Um Mr. Adrian what creature is it?" Olivia asked him.

"Its... a legendary Phoenix. It rare ... i mean only the spiritual beings, messengers of god, can only summon it. Those people possessed great power." He said.

"What does that mean..." Max asked.

"Yeah Scarlet is not a spiritual being..." William added.

"We are still unaware of the powers of a Blackflame power hold... scarlet is unique in itself." He paused , "Non of the previous generations lived long enough to know their fate..." he said in sorrow.

The tested ended and we went to the mansion.

"See i told you that you were special"Ryan said.

"You know phoenixes had healing powers too?" Noah said. "I read in books"

"Oh i didn't know..."

"You should use her and test her powers." Alex said., " non of us have even seen one or know its special powers..."

I cut the apple in small pieces and fed Ella.

"Just look her feathers... so beautiful." William said.

"You wanna hold her?"

"Let me get my gloves..." I gave Ella to his arm before he could go.

"I don't wanna hurt it..." he said in worry. Ella snuggle into his hands.

"But i dont think its hurt." Ryan said.

Ella snugged to sleep.

A golden aura covered  William.

"Woah..." Max gasped.

"What happened... what did it do?" Alex asked.

"I don't know... but i feel good..." William said.

He kept Ella in the small basket bed i made for her and gave it to me.

"I have a hunch..." William said.

He touched my face with his bare hands.

"What are you doing! You might take away her life source..." Alex said.

But nothing happened.

I touched him. It was normal like he didn't had any powers like that.

He smiled."Ella temporary suppressed my powers to take life source."

He hugged me in joy," thank you scarlet!"

"Hey.." Ryan separated him from me.

He must be happy to have touch and live like normal people.

He hugged everyone that night in joy. I giggled.

I am happy for him.

We made everything pick up Ella to see what effect it had on them.
When Alex touched her, his power amplified.
Noah was blossoming with healing aura.
Ryan could not only control the he wind but fly with it and Max can bend water to any matter at his will.

At last Ella flew and came to sit on my shoulder. She was still small. Like a baby bird.

"You have to take care of her and yourself too now." Noah said.

"What you mean?"

"Cause a sprit animal feed and grow from the energy it get from its master. So you have to take care of yourself too." William said.

"I see. Thanks guys i will remember it"

Things are looking up and good. I hope i can grow and learn to use my powers.
I looked at them. Everyone so happy and together. They helped always, now i want to do something for them. I want to thank them...

Then I remember i can bake them a chocolate cake and cook dinner least i can do to thank them. Plus tomorrow is valentines day. I can make chocolate for each one.

Thats a great idea! I smiled to myself.

I cant wait for tomorrow to come. I hugged my pillow and slept.
