Make up Exam

Scarlet POV

I woke up refreshed and healthy.

My health was back to 100% again.

But I missed my exam.

Now I have to give a makeup exam.

I signed...

"This Sucks..." I dug my head between my arms.

"We just started!" Olivia said.

"I know but I don't get anything! Magic learning is hard! To remember all the symbols and signs.."

"Really?" She seemed disbelief.

"Easy for you to say you came within the top 10 in class."

We studied a bit more.

I close the books in frustration.

"I am tired of studying I don't get anything!" I cried.

"Scarlet you need to finish the chapter, remember what Mr Adrian said, the makeup test is going to be hard."

"I know... but when I don't get anything I can't just mug it all up."

"Okay... we can take a break now. But finished it when you go to your room." I hugged her.

"Thanks, liv"

"By the way, you can ask William to teach you. He came first in class you know."

"I doubt it he will teach me..."

"Why? He seems like a nice guy. If you ask him, he will I am sure."

"I will see..."

I made my way to the mansion.

I went straight to the room and opened the book.

I concentrated and tried to understand and study.

I am still having difficulty in understanding the most difficult chapter. Then suddenly I remember what Olivia said.

Ask William, he came first in class. I am sure he can help.

I should ask him. But then I remember, he always telling me to keep distance and stay away from him. I don't wanna trouble him.

I looked at the textbook.

Do you want to fail?

I can't afford to fail! I picked up my notebooks and textbook. I made my way towards his room.

I took a deep breath. Couldn't hurt much and knocked on the door.

"Hey, William you there?"

I knocked again.

"I am sorry to disturb, but I desperately need your help."

No answer...

Maybe I have to do it alone. Hope I pass...

Suddenly he opened the door.

"What do you want?"

"Um, I need your help studying, please. I don't get anything at all and tomorrow is my make up exam! Please I need your assistance." I made a sad puppy face.

He thought for a while and let me in.

His room was modern decorated and very peaceful. It looks good.

"Which part you don't understand?."

"Yes! This one." I handed him the textbook.

"It is easy, see this part.." he started explaining and I noted down everything.
