Today I am being my guards out, not Because I'm afraid, but due to the fact that I brought extra food so everyone can eat. I also brought my handmaiden, piper. Partly so she could bring food partly because I want my ship 'jasper' to sail.

Today as usual everyone is here, but the boy looks much more depressed. Eyes gloomy, head dropped, small frown.

"Percy?" That voice came from piper, but She's never been to the villager as far as I am aware.

"Hey piper..." THATS THE ROBIN HOOD GUYS VOICE! Yes I have his name! Percy. Percy. Percy.

Lol she be like IT GOOD NAME YALL!

"Oh my gods Percy! Your so thin!" Maybe I should intrude on there conversation but....

"I'm on a diet now." He nervously scratched the back of his neck, obviously lying.

" minotaur poop! Percy you have to eat" they obviously knew each other. What if they were exes!

"No comment" I couldn't help but laugh, ok ok giggle.

Piper then realized that I was standing there staring.

"Oh annabeth! This is my childhood friend Percy." I know I know but go with it! I think piper and Percy should be best friends. But that's just me.

"Oh! That's great but please hand out food now." Oh gods that came out much more jealous then Intended.

Piper raised her eyebrow and walked away to feed people, each person got a basket of food and I did a full count to make sure every citizen got a full basket. That includes, PERCY! I even labeled them.

"Percy come up this is your basket." Piper stoped giving them out to watch, making sure he got one obviously.

"Oh I don't need one! Besides there's not enough for ever-" HAHHAHAHA I WIN!

"Oh yes there is Percy! I did a count" he started fiddling with his fingers and looking around.

"But-" He attempted to protest but piper snatched the basket forcefully gave it to him and walked back and put her hands on her hips.

"No buts, buts are for chickens. You eat, food is for humans." Sassper said. Piper is sassper, don't comment being like WHO IS THIS!

"Fine." He got his food and ran off, a bit to angry for my liking. I started to run after him but piper stoped me.

"Let him cool off then we will both go after him." She reasoned, then why did I have a bad horrible no good feeling about this.

——-time skip to when they go after him———-

We ran after Percy, and did not like what we saw, him handing out the food in his basket.

"Please eat, I can't stand it if another death is my fault." Put that on my list of things to ask the vigilante. Bruh, talk to text makes long hard words so easy!

We watched him for a while longer until he started wAlk off. We heard his stomach clench and throttle but he didn't seem to care.

"Common! Just a few more miles to... home." The word home was sapped head to toe in disgust and hate.

We walked up to the house and listened I heard voices.

"Did they have food for us boy".  A new voice rang out

"No they ran out, struggled to get some though" LIES!

"Then go up to your room and do something useful for once!" A harsh slobbering voice said. I looked at piper for question but she only shrugged and said, tell you later.

We climbed a tree to see him to make sure he's ok, stalkers! Shhh self shhh.

"Stupid STEP dad, stupid death, stupid food!" He mumbles on and on, until he reached the one that caught my ear.

"Stupid piper caring to much! Stupid pri-princess trying to feed me, if I brought food home ide only be feeding the nightmare. It's to hot Percy, go get me warm food, I need water Percy, it's to little you get none Percy." He ranted on and on and I started get bored.

I shifted my feet and the tree branch fell the one holding me and piper. I heard the curtains open and I sAw a mob of black hair look down at us.

"PIPER, PRINCESS ARE YOU OK!"  I'm always addressed by princess never annabeth.

"It's annabeth" I croaked

"What are you doing up my tree! That's my climbing bran- are you spying on my! Piper I expected this but prin- annabeth! I barley know you." The words stung but were true.

"I know, but I was worried when you gave your food away. I am princess Wich means I have to look after my people!"

"Not me I'm good as a pickle! ThT reminds me want one" this is a trap haha I won't fall for it.

"Sure" oh gods but she did.

Percy started throwing pickles at us, we had to take cover from high velocity pickles.

"NOT FUNNY!" How dare he throw pickles at the princ- wait? I don't care! I'm annabeth annabeth doesn't care.

"Sorry. Coming down we can talk piper stop smiling." I looked over and forgot I was looking at piper not Charashee cat.

He climbed down and walked over to us.

"Hey so, sorry about umm calling y'all stupid! Just frustrated by-" he started to walk off but piper grabbed him spun him around and looked at him in the eye harder then I've ever seen.

"We're is sally." Sally?

Percy looked guilty and a tear fell down his face "sh-she didn't make it." He almost whispered and piper gasped and hugged him.

"What happened" I kinda feel like I'm intruding so I hugged him, ignoring the butterfly's. Now I feel even more  awkward.

"She gave up her last meal to me without telling me... I found out but it was to late, she slowly died a few days later wile I was looking for a way to get food. I can never take food when someone else needs it more again i-it was to much. So please leave me be" tears were in his, my, and pipers eyes.

Then I got a idea.

"Percy, would you like a job in the castle." I realy expected him to say no, but he looked at me with wide eyes and ran off no words.

"Oh I am sooo making him take this job." Piper voiced my thoughts and we ran off to find Percy.
