Soda and I have been talkin' for a couple weeks now, soda is one of my best buds and I wouldn't ask for more. We planned to hang out at the movies, so we could have time away from the gang and just time to talk about stuff away from them too. I was planning on telling him my feelings for johnny cause I also got pretty close to him too. I got close with everyone, especially Two-bit. I'm glad too they all make me happy and feel like I'm loved for once... ever since my parent's death two-bit has been getting onto the boys when they bring up a sensitive topic for me. I'm glad he's looking out for me. I was currently walking to the curtis's house when a blue mustang pulled up and a guy hollered at me. "What's a pretty girl like you walking alone?" I scrunched my face up, their gross Socs. I'm sure the same Socs that jumped Johnny too. "None of your business" I was so close to the Curtis's house so if I have to run I can make it there without a scratch... hopefully. "You're too pretty to be a greaser." I looked at them and told them "I'm not a greaser, and I'm sure as hell not a soc, I'm not mid class either. I'm just me" there were about 4 or 5 guys in the car that were about to get out which scared me so I ran. One guy with rings almost caught me but i ran and jumped over the curtis's gate and ran in before knocking. They always told me I could just come in but sometimes I knocked. They knew something was wrong when I walked in with heavy breathing and tears forming in my eyes. Who knows that they would have done to me if they caught me. Sodapop was the only one home at the moment cause everyone else was out at the dingo. "Y/N what's wrong?" Soda jumped up to his feet and wrapped his arms around me, I felt safe in his arms. He was like a brother to me, he always made me feel better when I was down and I didn't have two-bit by my side. "The guys with the blue mustang, the same guys who jumped Johnny I think... I mean this guy who almost grabbed me was wearing rings." I just cried in his arms as he held me like a overprotective brother. I missed two-bit and johnny, a lot. Soda told me to sit on the couch, he put a comfy blanket over me and put a random show on. It was only 4:45 and the movie didn't start until 6:30 so we had time for a little hanging out around the house. Soda chilled on the couch with me until 5:45, we then walked to the movies. I didn't want him to say he could pay so I had him sneak in through the side with me. We snuck in to see dally, ponyboy, and above all johnny. (Also cherry and Marcia arent here this time so we avoid that) My hands started getting clammy and it was in the middle of August. I looked at my hands and they even looked really sweaty. Soda asked to sit next to them and of course dally being the flirt he is said yes so he could talk to me, he failed cause I obviously sat next to soda and johnny. Dally got a little jealous seeing I sat next to them. I smiled and blushed at Johnny, he did the same. I'm not sure if anyone knows I like johnny, I'm not even sure if soda knows. I need to tell soda. "Hey soda wanna go get drinks?" Soda smiled, "sure, anyone want popcorn?" Everyone said sure besides dally, typical dally though he mostly gets drinks and flirts with random girls he finds. I have some money in my pocket $15.68 which is enough for popcorn and drinks. "Put your money away Y/N I'll pay" I frown at soda, "but soda, you need the money more than I do" he chuckled "I'll be alright kid" I sighed and put my money back in my pocket. We walked away and when we were a good distance from everyone I turned to soda. "Soda? Can I tell you something?" He looked concerned, "yeah?" I blushed a bit thinking about johnny, "I like Johnny... like... a lot. But, I don't know how to tell him cause I don't know if he likes me like that" he chuckled, "he does, he talks about you a lot" I smiled widely and blushed a lot. Girls around got jealous cause they probably thought soda and I were a thing from the way i was blushing and he was smiling. Girls around town always have eyes out for soda or dally. Soda gets a lot of girls he don't even want. He looks for the girls who don't look at him or go for him. He's smart and good lookin', I can see why girls always go for him. "Maybe you should do something special, maybe get him alone in case anything happens" he smirked at me and I knew exactly what he meant. "Soda I love that idea besides that gross thing you said, I'm only 15!" He laughed at my little comment, classic soda, he does have the best advice though. We walked back after getting our food, dally looked at us and smirked. "You guys were gone an awful long time Y/N what was going on, huh?" I looked at dally with wide eyes, "we got their popcorn and drinks! Nothing else! We also talked about a private issue that I'm having." I looked at johnny in the corner of my eye and he looked a bit upset so I told dally to shut up before he upset johnny anymore. I sat back down next to johnny and sodapop, I hope johnny doesn't think that me and sodapop are anything more than friends though. Soda is like my brother and I love him only as a brother too. I saw johnny did look a bit upset so I leaned my head on Johnny's shoulder to see if that would make him feel better. He kind of jumped a bit but relaxed immediately after I did. I smiled and I could tell he was too. I didn't really focus on the movie cause all I was focusing on was Johnny's breathing. I don't know why but Johnny's breathing was calming to me, I was slowly drifting off to sleep when johnny shook me a bit. "Hey Y/N wake up the movies over" I looked at Johnny and all I could see in his eyes was pure adoration, and all I could think of was if him and I became a thing. I stood up and stumbled a bit because I'm still trying to wake up. Soda chuckled, "c'mon kid I'll walk you home." Johnny got a bit jealous so he said "no its alright I'll take her home, I dont have anywhere else to go besides the lot anyways and it's not that far either." Soda smirked, "alright go ahead" soda, dally, and ponyboy said their goodbyes and so did Johnny and I then we headed down the street. Soon we were getting close to my house and I was extremely tired. "Hey johnny?" He looked at me and smiled, "yeah?" I looked at him sleepily, "can you stay the night with me? Two-bits at the dingo and wont be home tonight and I don't want to be alone tonight" his cheeks went red and he looked away for a minute, "yeah sure, I'll crash on the couch so two-bit don't kill me" he chuckled a bit "you can sleep with me, the couch ain't that comfortable so I wouldn't mind you sleeping in my bed for a night" he looked at me with wide eyes as he stuttered "I- um- y-yeah sure" I smiled widely as I giggled and hugged his arm. We walked into the house, it was messy cause two-bit never bothered to clean, but I might maybe tomorrow. I have nothing better to do cause I'll be home all day Tomorrow. We walked up to my room, I remembered Johnny was going to be sleeping with me so I needed clothes for him to sleep in. "I'll get some of two-bit's old sleepin' clothes for ya" and I ran out of the room and into his closet, I found an old black shirt that's about a large, and old regular sleeping pants for him that would be a bit big but a comfortable fit. I ran back into the room and johnny was just sitting on my bed. I handed him the clothes and he went into the bathroom to change, while he was I quickly changed out of my jeans and black shirt. Wasn't that much so it was quick enough before johnny got back into the room. He came in and saw me already changed, he didn't know where to set his clothes so I just let him set them by my door. My room was actually clean besides the entire house so johnny could actually walk around. I turned off the lights and sat down on my bed and got under the covers, Johnny got under the covers after I did and put his back to mine. I thought about if he actually liked me, does he? These thoughts were bothering me a lot so I wanted to know. "Johnny do you like anyone?" I guess this question took him back a bit cause I  heard him turn a bit to look at me. I turned to face him and he did too. "Y-yeah, why?" It was dark so he couldn't see my face. He chuckled, "goodnight Y/N" I smile, "goodnight johnnycake" he turned over and I thought about it... but I wrapped my arms around his body and snuggled into his back. I knew he was shocked by this sudden action and he turned around so I moved my arms. He wrapped his arms around me and I wrapped mine around him. We fell asleep cuddling and it was the best night ever to me.
