Hey guys! I'm sorry I haven't updated I did acknowledge the book but I forgot where I left off so I had to re-read part of it so I now know where i left off😂 anyways enjoy this little update, byee!

Y/n's POV-
He grabbed my hand and we were out of the house. As we were walking down the street a familiar blue mustang started following us... that damn blue mustang! Why are they on our side of town all the time?! I sighed in annoyance as 4 guys got out of the car. "What do you socs want now?" I said in a very noticeably annoyed voice. "Aww little miss Matthews annoyed with us?" They said in a taunting voice, god I hated them so much. "Well, what do you want? Just answer my damn question" I got even more annoyed at the fact it felt like I was trying to talk to two-bit when he's watching mickey mouse and something had to be done chore wise. They looked a little pissed off and annoyed themselves, "we want to have some fun" they chuckled with such evilness and it sent shivers down my spin, "look, I know you probably want trouble but I'm not in the mood to kick your ass right now so why d-" they bursted out laughing like me saying I can kick their ass was a joke, johnny looked at them like they made a huge mistake which they did. "You really think I'm joking? Try me." The seriousness in my voice caused their laughter to die down. The blonde headed dude with a bunch of rings gave me a serious expression and it looked like he wasnt having any fun after that, they looked me dead in the eye and saw I was serious about it. He gave me a such hatred look but I kept my stone cold face and he got irritated at it and left with his buddies. Johnny looked at me scared, I turned to him with sadness and concern, "johnny what's wrong their gone?" He started tearing up as he spoke, "I recognize that blue mustang from when I was jumped, that guy was wearing rings, and their were 4 guys   y/n..." I looked at him remembering that guy had rings when he hit Johnny, fitting the description. I was now fuming with anger and rage, I knew the one person I could go to... Dallas Winston, Dallas loves Johnny with everything he is and has and wouldn't mind beating the living hell out of a soc for something.. but I'm scared Dallas might even kill that guy so that's something I cant put johnny or anyone else through. "Johnny... let's go home.." he looked me in my eyes and slowly nodded, I took his hand and we walked to me and two-bit's house. My mom is always working late until 6 in the morning. I walked hand in hand with johnny is silence, silence for us wasnt awkward cause we loved each others company no matter what. Johnny was honestly that one person who I dreamed I would spend forever with, he was sweet, kind, sensitive, and he understood you more than ever. I love Johnny Cade and I hope he loves me just as much as I love him...
// time skip to Y/n's house//
We finally arrived at my house, it used to be the dirtiest house in the neighborhood to me until two-bit got the sense to help me and mom clean it up. Johnny was tired from the way he walked and looked and so was I, "c'mon Johnny we can have fun some other time." He smiled and chuckled a little under his breathe, I smiled, "what's so funny mr. Cade?" He looked at me and said, "you're so cute when you talk about those kinds of things" I blushed at his remark as he kissed my cheek. We walked to my room and he crawled into my bed, two-bit always got salty with me cause I got a queen sized bed and he still has twin sized one. Johnny has his back faced to me and I wrapped my arms around his waist and he jumped a bit so I moved my arms away and turned back around. I wasnt expecting him to quickly turn over and wrap himself around me. I turned over and snuggled my face into his chest, I loved hearing his heartbeat.. it was fast but calming. I wrapped my arms around him as he did the same, I felt so warm especially since it was in the middle of November (I'm assuming cause I never found information saying it was or was not in the middle of November) johnny was my warmth and the soft blanket covering us. I lifted my head and kissed Johnny's jaw cause that's all I could reach seeing as Johnny had himself tightly wrapped around me. He leaned down to me and kissed me. "Johnny?" He looked into my eyes when he looked down, "yeah y/n?" I paused for a moment... I never said I love you to Johnny and I dont know how'd he'd react to it.. might as well, we only live once. "I-..." I bit the inside of my cheek for a moment, "I-I love you, johnnycake." His eyes lit up as those words spoke to him, he smiled goofily and kissed me again. "I love you too,    y/n" I smiled and fell asleep wrapped in his arms...
