*Troye's POV*

I finally swung my legs over the side of the bed after stretching like a possessed rabbit for what seemed like forever. Ugh. Monday. Monday was my absolute worst favourite day of the week. Honestly, I didn't really like many days at all, but I despised Monday. Everyone hates Monday, right? It's the start of a new week so no more lie-ins or stay-in-your-pyjamas-all-day days, I guess that's why no one likes it. I on the other hand, hate Mondays for a totally different reason. I don't have one class with my best friend all day, and I really can't bare school without him.

My best friend is some twink I like to call Tilly. His real name is Tyler but ever since I called him Tilly once, it kinda stuck. Me and Tyler have been best friends for as long as I can remember, and there hasn't been a day where I haven't felt like we're drifting apart. We're both so alike but we have our differences too, and I love that. The only thing I don't love is our social status's. Tyler is the hot, masculine, jock of the school, and I'm just 'that kid he hangs round with'. I have to admit, it does get to me a little, well maybe a lot, but I never say anything really. I guess that's what best friends do though, they put up with stuff they hate just to make the other person happy. Don't get me wrong, I love Tyler, I really do. When he isn't there I get picked on quite a bit, or just generally ignored, but as soon as he's there I'm kind of popular in a way, and that makes me happy.

My phone buzzed and sent a vibration down my arm. Shit! I've been lying here for about 10 minutes doing nothing what's so ever!

For fuck sakes Troye, get your ass up.

I hopped up and shoved on a plain white shirt and some black skinny jeans. Okay, so it wasn't the best outfit in the world, but it was comfy and cute, and that's all I need. I brushed my teeth and showered as fast as I could, leaving my hair messy before running downstairs to face the usual.

My little sister Sage and my little brother Tyde were at the table eating breakfast with a cheeky grin plastered on their faces. I was extremely tired and not looking forward to today, but I decided that I had to pass them and face their mischievous ways anyway. I slid past them, trying not to make eye contact and set them off giggling once again, but as suspected, I failed. They shot up a glance within seconds and bombarded me with questions and squeaky cackles.

"Have a good day at school with your boyfriend Troye." Sage giggled. Tyde soon joined her of course. "Yeah don't forget to give him a kiss, he might think you don't like him anymore"
They both burst into a fit of laughter and I couldn't help but glare at them. Normally I would just let it slide, but today it was just too much.

"He isn't my boyfriend." I spat, quickly noticing them trying to hold in their giggling. "And anyway, we don't have any classes together today."
Immediately I regretted what I had said, knowing that it would only spur on more questions.
"Aw, is little Troye-boy going to miss his boyfriend?" Sage said with a smirk, but before I could reply, my mum walked in. I was kind of annoyed that she came in because I couldn't say anything back, but at the same time she saved me, so that was a good thing.

"Cmon now kids, stop bothering him." A sigh of relief flew over me. I was half expecting her to join in on embarrassing me, but thankfully she hadn't.
"Need a lift honey?"
"Um no thanks mom, I'll drive myself" The happiness in her face quickly faded and I realised that she really did want to drive me to school, she wasn't just offering for the sake. My mom hadn't drove me to school in a while, and I guess she missed that. I didn't really speak to her now, or any of my family for that matter. I liked being alone in my room, I just felt more comfortable in my own presence. I felt like I could be myself that way and take my own time to think.

"Troye?"
I rapidly snapped back to reality, clearly I had been lost in my thoughts again. She had asked me something, hadn't she? Shit. What was it?
"Uh, yeah mom?"
"Have a good day at school, you're going to be late if you don't hurry up by the way."
I glanced towards the clock hanging on the beige kitchen walls. I let out a huff as I realised she was right. I had 20 minutes to get to school and I lived 30 minutes away. Ugh. Now I'll never get there to see Tyler in time.

"Thanks, I better go then. Bye guys. Tell dad I say bye too." And with that I dragged myself off toward the door. I yanked my school bag up and flung it over my shoulder. I pulled on some of my black platformed converseand stepped out of the door, lightly closing it behind me, I didn't really want to ruin the already cracked paintwork lying on the door frame.

Right, time to face the music.

A/N
Okay. So this is the first fanfic I've ever wrote. I know it's kindof boring but I just wanted to introduce some relationships and blah blah blah. I'll try to make it a lot more better in future chapters don't worry. Well actually I might not carry it on. Should I? Idk. I'm kinda shit at writing this type of thing so idek if anyone will like it😂 Oh and also I'll be changing the cover art soon, I'm bad at making edits so someone is doing it for me😊

COMMENT IF I SHOULD CARRY ON OR NOT?
