Chapter 2

Sage's POV

"Sage wake up you don't want to be late for school." Her mum yelled from downstairs.

"Yes mum i getting up now!" I yelled back. Looks like it's gonna be another one of those days. I grab my favourite pair of black jeans and my asking alexandria shirt and Panic! At The Disco jumper. I headed downstairs and mum gave me the look of disgust. I shrugged it off i got this everyday.

"Why don't you wear the clothes you wore before, this outfit makes you look like an troublemaker."

"Coz mum i've changed so deal with it" i replied harshly. She didn't understand who i am or what i wear no one did. She was still in the delusional state where i was popular and wore slutty clothes. I shivered at the thought i can't believe i wore slutty clothes and literally looking like i would have sex with any guy.

"Bye mum" i yelled heading out the door. I hurried out so i wouldn't have to her what she said or had to say. I arrived at the bus stop and their was my old group of 'friends'. They had ditched me once they heard about my parents getting divorced and one of them seeing my dad drunk on the streets asking for money for booze.

They all turned around after one of the new sluts pointed me out and gave me the looks of disgust. I gave them equal looks of disgust and walked up to them.

"I suggest you use some kleenex for that shit on your face, oh wait woops its your face." I sneered at one of the sluts. They all stared confused until the 'leader' Lauren spoke up.

"Pfftt how about you put a plastic bag over your face no one should see it its disgusting." Lauren said laughing.

"How about Lauren you shut the fuck up and just come out of the closet everyone knows anyway." I smirked, and walked away. I looked back to see Lauren seething and giving me a death glare. I laughed and put my music in. My mood improved as soon as my music played. It blocked me out of the world and i wouldn't have to listen to stupid gossip about boys, football and girls.

Out of the corner of my eye i saw a kid i had never seen before. He must be the new student that everyone was talking about especially my mum. I didn't get what was so special about this kid he seemed like a normal teenager to me. I saw Lauren stalking up to me she was probably gonna kill me for saying that but i don't give a crap. Luckily for me the bus arrived and i got on before Lauren reached me. I walked to my spot in the corner at the back. And sat down i felt comfortable here no one sat near me or next to me so i had the back row to myself. The bus filled up and the new kid was the last kid to get on. I watched as he walked up the bus. He was probably gonna sit next to Lauren. I saw as she gestured for him to sit next to her and he casually brushed her off anyone would have taken that seat.

I might actually like this kid he turned Lauren down and judging by her facial expression she seemed surprised but it quickly changed to determination. She was gonna get that kid if that was the last thing she would ever do.

"Um can i sit here?" The new kid asked. Wait when did he arrive and why was he talking to me. Like everyone in this town knew not to talk to me.

"Yea sure whatever." I replied. He sat down next to me kept looking every where around the bus. His eyes landed on Lauren and his face looked confused. I looked and there sat Lauren giving me the death glare. If looks could kill i'd be dead.

"Um so i'm Finn." He said introducing himself and holding out his hand. I looked at his hand and then back to him and he dropped it.

"Nice to meet you Finn." I said.
