Me: Wow, so much has happened.

Clary: I know, right?

Simon: I only realize this as I'm listening to the top 20 most listened songs of 2019.

Jace: .....you realize we're talking about the decade, right?

Annabeth: Um, no, I'm sure they were talking about the year...

Me: Nope. Decade.

Hermione: *grins*

Annabeth: Shut up.

Me: Glad to see you two getting along pretty well. No autocorrect, this isn't important and I'm not writing a business letter. I don't want spellcheck.

Tris: Wait, so we're talking about the decade? Or 2019?

Me: *shrugs* Doesn't matter.

Four: Ha ha, have you seen those baby yoda memes going around?

Keefe: VSCO GIRLS ROCK!!!!

Me: *groans* Please tell me you don't just carry around scrunchies and hydroflasks with you everywhere?

Tam: You really don't want to know.

Vara: *raises an eyebrow*

Me: Fine. MoMo is finally gone, and hopefully the gun violence and unfortunate STUFF that's happening will cease.

Sophie: That'll never happen and you know that.

Katniss: *looks on sadly* Yeah. Our president was impeached, which doesn't mean he's out of office, but he's just suspended momentarily.

Me: *laughs* My social studies teacher went on for hours about the difference between impeachment and conviction. And my 2019 wasn't really a great year. It was great early on, but not as much as before, and worse in the later months after June.

Harry: All the girls are obsessed with doing this front tuck thing to their shirt, and just the front. Why is that????

Me: *shrugs* It makes them look less fat or something. Apparently.

Ron: Bohemian Rhapsody was even more popular this year. For some reason.

Hazel: FORTNITE IS GONE!!!!!!!!!!!! IT IS DEAD!!!!!! WE CAN LIVE IN PEACE!!!!!!!

Me: *smiles for the first time in 2019* IKR WE SHOULD HAVE A PARTY!!!!!!

Guys: *boo*

Girls: *cheer*

Vara: I have to interrupt this before this turns into a fight.....so I apologize. BUT LEGACYYYYYYYY

Me: YESSSSSSSSS

Isabelle: 7 rings by ariana grande is probably the most heard-of song I've listened to this year.

Me: And the fact that I moved. Again. And I probably will next year, which is like the worst year to move, because of my grade level. So you can guess it hasn't been a great year for me. And I know I'll regret this line, but how could things possibly get worse in 2020?

Vara: I really think you'll regret that.

Me: Yeah. But still, it was fun to say and pretend like I'm a character in a book with so many plot twists and stuff.

Tris: Billie Eilish was this huuuuuuuge sensation. People wouldn't stop talking about her.

Keefe: I can't really find any famous people who died other than the president of Nordstrom.

Simon: Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker!

Fitz: Endgame!

Percy: Frozen 2!

Vara: It's a big year for quotes.

Me: And non-skinny jeans are taking over. I saw this tumblr thing about skinny jeans being the thing of our generation and everyone else looking over at us 'old people'.

Vara: We have to end this soon because Greebean is lazy and can't think of anything else, so is there anything else anyone would like to add?

Me: I think that's it. Goodbye, peoples! Hope 2020's all it's hyped up to be!

Ah, yes, comes the procrastination tradition I seem to have on December 31st. Still. Was there anything I forgot or anything else popular/heard of? What were your thoughts on 2019?
