"Uh oh.. Hey guys.." "And where are you coming from Jack?" North looks at me with such distrust that it could make anyone very nervous and uneasy "I just uh... Came back from patrol?" "Patrol Hu?" Bunnymund says, not trusting it any way "What are you not telling us Jack?" Tooth asks as calm as always I sigh as I know I can't hide it anymore "alright.. I've been on an mission" "An mission without any of us knowing from it?" Bunnymund came closer, trying to scare me off but he was far from succesful "Yes so what? I don't need you babysitting me, I'm the guardian of fun and not some child" I've become really tired of Bunny joking around with me all the time Tooth looked a bit worried at me while North kind of sided with Bunny "Jack...." Tooth started "No! I don't want to hear it, this is just like when I just joined and that fight against Pitch Black, none of you just trust me!" I couldn't think anymore, they never trusted me enough to let me do my own things.. It's been a while since I really made fun with the children for the last time besides my time with Elsa.. I didn't even notice I kinda scared Tooth and made North and Bunny even more annoyed with me, I just went back to my room still angry
After some minutes Tooth came to my room where she saw me sitting in the window with my hoodie over my head looking outside "Jack.. Are you okay?" Tooth carefully asked, clearly trying not to upset me in any way again "I'm fine Tooth..." I answered but kept looking outside so she decided to come closer, she even came next to me "I know Bunny can be annoying sometimes and North can be a bit overprotective but they mean the best for you..." She says calmly laying an hand on my shoulder

"Yeah I know.." I sigh "but this is something really important to me and I'm sure they wouldn't understand.." "You can tell me Jack, you know I would only want to help you if you need help" she puts gently her hand on my knee, I looked up at her and got my hoodie off "I know Tooth.. Alright, I'll tell you but promise me you won't tell Bunny and North, they will only want to stop me" Tooth nods and I sigh, trying to find the right words to tell her "I've been visiting an girl... An very special girl.." I tell her carefully, Tooth clearly was surprised, she probably expected something to do with Jamie or anything "She has special powers and an hard time accepting and controlling them.. I've been visiting her for some time now, almost every free moment before her bed time" I continued "An girl with powers? What kind of powers? And who is she?" Tooth seemed very surprised but also curious "It is princess Elsa of Arendelle, she's just like me.." I answer, Tooth got clearly confused by that "Just like you..? That's not possible.." "We both have ice powers Tooth.. I don't know but she's just an child.." "Our biggest mission is to protect the children and seeing she has ice powers you are the perfect guardian for this job, I'm sure the others will understand" I knew right away what she was trying here, she's trying to convince me to tell the other guardians about Elsa but.. I can't do that, not yet.. "I'm sorry Tooth but.. This is something I need to do alone.. I know what I need to do but in order to do that I need you to keep this a secret and for Bunny and North to just trust me but I know they don't" "Well if you need any help some day just let me know" she says as she walks back towards the door "I will, thanks Tooth" She nods at me and flies back to her fairies at the toothpalace
As she left my room I started making notes for Elsa her training, gotta be prepared if I ever want to show that I am an good guardian but most of all I need to help Elsa in any way I can.. After that I grabbed my staff, walked back to the window and went flying out to bring some frosty nights to some places and visit Jamie for a bit
First training
Every day Elsa and I played with my powers yet she would never take off the gloves she got from her father but that didn't make it less fun I knew my first mission was to make Elsa more comfortable with winter powers in general before even starting with training her

After a couple of years the night started as usual but as we've been playing for so long together that I decided that it was time to start training even though she still never took her gloves off, she had to learn how to control her powers and I was the only one who could really help her which on one side made me a little nervous We started her training with much fun, I didn't stop her at all, I wanted to see what she could do and make fun I mean that's what I'm best at, training while making fun, so when she made piles of snow I jumped on them we laughed and had fun but while making another pile of snow she slipped and her power came my way, I could dodge on time but ended up sliding from the pile and on the ground, I'm sure the next thing Elsa saw was me on the ground because as I looked back at her I saw the fear in her eyes just before she puts her gloves back on and sit on the ground I heard her mumbling the phrase her parents kept repeating to her while nothing happened As I went to her I saw she was crying and it broke my heart I came down on one knee to her hight and looked at her "Elsa?" I tried to let her look at me but I guess that trauma is deeper then I thought it might have been.. "No this can't be...you're not the real Jack... I..." She started crying again and I calmly placed my hand on her head making her look at me

"Does that feel like I'm not the real one?" I smiled softly at her "you didn't hit me snowflake and even if you did, I can handle that, I let you do whatever you wanted to see how much I should teach you, how much you know and where I can help" "You... I didn't hit you..? But I saw..." She says between her sobs "You probably saw me getting up from the ground, after dodging the magic I slid down the snow pile" I softly petted her head to calm her while smiling softly She looked at her hands after I said that she didn't hit me and went to hug me tight, I hugged her back "You're very powerful snowflake but you let your biggest weakness guide you" I said, looking a bit concerned at her "let's have some more fun, shall we?" She nods, whipping her tears away and stands up I started by making an snowball and threw it at her while already getting two snowballs thrown in my face We laughed a lot while playing until it was almost her bed time "Shall I let some snow stay?" I looked at her "maybe your parents would like to see that you're practicing with your powers?" "I'm sure they won't" she answers as she looks at her gloves "they want me to hide it remember?" "Yes I remember snowflake, hiding your powers isn't right though" I let the snow disappear She sighs "I know Jack but I..." "I know you rather don't want them but no one can change that princess" I answered her "you should remember that fear is what can't be trusted, not your magic, with proper training, which I will give you, you will be able to do great things so always trust yourself" I hugged her before the Queen came into the room to get Elsa to bed
