Not far from Caleb and Anti-Cindy was Ada. She was in another office that also belonged to Dr. O'Fallon and lying on the exam table. As she waited, she stared up at the ceiling and counted each and every square, moved her feet left and right, and had her arms folded and her head resting in her palms.

"Boy! I cannot wait for me to be fixed," Ada said. "Dr. O'Fallon sure is a better doctor here than he is in LotFor. Heck, he is not even a doctor. He sells illegal things." She rolled onto her side. "Dirty diapers and apple juice."

At that moment, loads of creaking sounds were heard, and if you guessed that they were from the hinges on the door, you would be correct.

Ada sat up and shifted her body to the office door that was now open wide. A shadowy figure was standing in the doorway, however, it was not Dr. O'Fallon. She was too short to be the doctor. She had more hair on her head than him. She was a she, not a he.

Despite the differences, Ava's anti was convinced that this was indeed him. She dangled her legs over the exam table and waved to him.

"Welcome back, Dr. O'Fallon. Do you have the tools and machines to fix my poor eye?"

"I am not Dr. O'Fallon," the figure confessed. "I am rather...your worst nightmare."

Ada was now confused. "I do not understand."

The figure stepped into the room, the shadows lifting off her, and Ada nearly toppled over.

"It is you. My...my..."

"Anti?" Ava finished for her. "Is that what you were going to say?"

She did not respond and swallowed a lump.

"I am glad that I found you as soon as I could," Ava continued on with an evil smirk. "We need to chat."

"Sounds like that you are copying Caleb's style," her anti told the truth. "You just said along the lines of what he said at the end of chapter twenty-five and are going to attempt to bring the truth out of me."

The evil girl nodded. "How Anti-Caleb abused you. 'Cause you could not have lost your sight in that eye by accident. And for the record, I am narrating this chapter. Caleb may have this whole book, but this chapter is mine."

"How did you know...that Anti-Caleb abused me? Your Caleb told you?"

"Caleb did not tell me such things. I figured it out myself."

Ava kicked the door, slamming it shut, and strolled towards the anti. Her giggles were creepy, and she stroked Ada with the back of her hand.

"I will call you Ada as well. That is what my Caleb refers to you after all."

"How...how did you get the red eye? Were you born with it?"

Ava climbed on the exam table and sat close to her. "I am so glad that you asked. Why, the same way that you lost your sight in your eye."

Ada hesitated. "...Caleb abused you?"

"No, no, no. I abused Caleb because it was fun to torture the little sucker. Now, I will not reveal much about my past considering that the next book will be about me, but I will say that I was abused myself."

"So...you were not abused by Caleb?"

"Not at all. Before Caleb and I became the best of 'friends,' I was abused by my maker...Dr. Hugo Maxwell."

"Oh my. I am truly sorry. Is Dr. Maxwell a villain in Forlot?"

"One of the many villains. He is also a psychopath. And even though that he did not abuse me as much as I did with Caleb, I say that he should pay for what he has done."

"Did he give you the red eye?"

"Unfortunately. The dirty bass."

"Bass? Why not say bas—"

"It is a bad word, and bad words are illegal in this book series."

"Seriously? Awesome! Bad words are forbidden in LotFor too. Anti-Caleb despises dirty mouths."

Ava's sinister grin grew wide. "Enough about me. I would like to know how Anti-Caleb damaged your eye."

Ada let out a sigh of defeat. "Since that you told me yours, it is only fair that I tell you mine."

But before she had a chance to explain, the door opened once again, and another shadowy figure stood in the doorway.

Ada hid behind Ava, and her body shook.

"It is him."

It indeed was. Anti-Caleb stepped inside, the shadows backing out, and was as evil as when he was introduced.

He knew exactly what was going on between the twins girls, and yet he was satisfied.

"Ava," Anti-Caleb said, referring to Anti-Ava. "What did I tell you about revealing family secrets?"

"She is not part of your family," Ava said.

Ignoring her, he took Ada by the wrist and forced her out of the room. Ava jumped off the exam table and whipped out her gun, frowning.

"Get your greasy glove off her, or there will be a bullet in your head in the future."

Anti-Caleb laughed. "Silly girl. I am not here for her." He threw Ada out and closed the door. "I am here for you."

"That is your first mistake."

"Awe. You are so beautiful when you are evil."

"Oh. I see. You discovered how evil I am and are now here to seduce me to be your bride."

"And intelligent. The whole package."

"How stupid do you think I am? That I would fall in love with you?"

"Patience, my dear. You may not love me in the now, but you will very soon. I say that we go on an evil date and—"

"Your lips and my lips will never touch. And we will not have a child that is a mix of you and me. Why? 'Cause you look and sound like Caleb. You are Caleb. That will never change."
