Meeting the Griers (Hayes Grier Fanfiction)

Chapter 2

Hayes' POV
Finally we arrived in England!! I was excited to be here, I had never been before. Me and all of magcon were coming over to do a kind of reunion tour in Europe which sounded amazing. Once me and my family had got out of the airport we went into the car that had been rented out for us. We were meeting my stepdad's friend and his family from work, he had recently been going to England a lot for his work. We were going to be staying in their house instead of a hotel. I knew I was going to have jet lag from the flight but I didn't want to seem grumpy when I met the family. Luckily it was a 3 hour drive from the airport to their house so I had some time to sleep.

We arrived at there house and I wasn't tired at all. We went in and introduced our selves, my dad's friend was called Rob, and he introduced his wife called Sarah. He said that he also has a daughter called Lauren but she was out with her friends. I heard Sarah give her a call asking her if she could come back.
Their house was really nice, it wasn't massive but there was enough room for us, Rob and Sarah both seemed really nice and I was happy to be staying here. When I was looking around their house I saw a few pictures of a girl, in the more recent ones the girl looked around my age. It must be their daughter Lauren.We all sat in the lounge talking whilst we waited for dinner to be ready and for Lauren to come back.
A couple of minutes later I saw a girl with a Pennyboard in her hand, she had two friends with her and hugged them and waved goodbye. She put her Pennyboard away and went through the back door into the house. I heard her talking to Sarah, I was trying to peek through the door to see her without making it obvious. I couldn't see much but she had medium length hair that was a light brown colour.
"Better watch out Rob, Hayes is eyeing up your daughter." Nash said with a grin on his face.
"Shut up I don't even know her!" I said as I quickly looked away and blushed slightly, although I couldn't wait to meet her. Luckily Rob wasn't one of those overprotected parents and just laughed about it.

Lauren's POV
I took a shower then got out and blow dried my hair and brushed it. I decided to just leave it natural and just clip up a bit of the front as I had used heated on it a few times already this week. I got changed into some denim shorts and a sleeveless pink top with palm trees on it. I put on a tiny bit of make up; mascara, concealer and lip gloss. Before I went down to meet the family I checked my snapchat, instagram and twitter. Nash had posted a video on snapchat of him arriving in England, he also posted one of Hayes sleeping in the car which was adorable!! Me and my friends had tickets to see one of their shows in London and I was sooo excited about it! My fangirling thoughts were interrupted by my dad shouting that dinner was ready...
