Chapter 6

Laura's POV
I woke up to the feel of someone's breath on my cheek.
"Ergh what, who, leave!" I quietly mumbled and pulled the covers over my head.
"Haha, sorry for waking you" I heard Hayes' voice say. "I came in and you were asleep, you just looked so cute."
"You watched me sleeping? Perv." I said and lazily pushed him.
"I guess you won't want this present I got you then?" He said with a smile and my eyes lit up.
He told me to shut my eyes and put out my hands. I felt something cold and in a rectangle shape in my hands.
"Open your eyes." he said softly
As I opened them I saw that the rectangle shape was a photo frame, it was turned the wrong way. I flipped it around and saw the picture me and Hayes took with the giraffe. The frame had little metal giraffes around the edge.
"Awww, Hayes! This is so nice." I was really surprised and was staring at the picture of ages.
"That okay, I know you love giraffes and saw this in the shop. I thought that you would like it." he said looking really pleased
"Thank you so much." I said to him. It was so cute, I put it on my bedside table.
Hayes POV
I had just have Lauren the picture of us to, she loved it and I was really happy.
I heard Nash shout for me to come into his room for a minute.
"Hayes has a crushhhh. Hayes like Lauren, Hayes has a crushhhh!" I heard Nash singing.
"Nash stoppp." I whined at him.
"So do you like Lauren." he asked raising his eyebrows up and down.
"Kind of yeah." I said looking at my feet.
"Are you going to ask her out?" He asked me.
"I don't know, I really like her and it would be great for this month but after that it, when we go back, won't be so great. We live thousands of miles apart and I don't know if it would work out." I said frowning with the thought in my head
"I get you. If you really like her I think you should give it a go." He said
"Thanks Nash but please don't go all soppy on me." I said laughing.

That evening
Lauren's POV

"Hey Lauren." I heard a number of voices say to me as I came down the stairs. Almost everyone was in the living room except for my mum who I could hear was in the kitchen.
"Hey, what's everyone doing." I asked
"We're all just about to watch a movie, your mum's just getting some popcorn and snacks." Elizabeth said
"Cool can I join?" I asked
"Suurree, come sit over here." Nash said pointing between him a Hayes.
We watched despicable me 2 because Skylynn was there so we couldn't watch something for older. Although I really love despicable me and it's one of my favourite films. The minions are just so funny. After the movie Skylynn was almost asleep, her Elizabeth and Johnnie went up to bed. Shortly after my mum and dad went up which just left me, Hayes and Nash.
"Let's watch a scary moovvviieee." Nash said excitedly
"Yeah yeah yeah, which one?" Hayes joined in.
"Hell no! Only a few years ago I was scared at the Harry Potter movies! I am not watching a scary movie." I said
"It doesn't have to be that scary." Nash replied.
"Pleeeaassseeeee." They both said at the same time.
"Okay we can, but don't be annoyed if I leave after 5 minutes." I told them.
"Yes!" they both said with excitement.

Halfway into the movie:
I was nearly shitting myself I was so scared, I don't know why I agreed to this I hate horror movies. Literally at every bit that was even the slightest bit scary I had to look away and cover my ears. An extremely scary but came on the screen just as I looked up.
"Eeekk" I shrieked and nuzzled into Hayes' chest. As I was leaning away from him he pulled me in and wrapped his arm around me. He was really comfy and warm. I was started to get tired so rested my his of his shoulder. I looked up to the screen and out popped a creepy dolls face. I shrieked again and hid into Hayes.
"It's tooooo scary I hate it." I said whining.
"Someone's a baby." I heard Nash say, I could tell he was making a vine so quickly looked up and whacked his phone out of his hand.
I snuggled back into Hayes and wrapped my arms around him. My eyes started to get heavy and sleepy. I shut them and yawned. Before I knew it I was about to fall asleep.
"Night Lauren." was the last thing I heard from Hayes and Nash. I was lost in my own dreamy thoughts...
