Chapter 7

Hayes POV
It's a day before magcon reunion tour and me and Nash can't wait. It will be great to see everyone all together again. I've actually really missed them. It will be great to travel all around Europe. I started to pack for the first trip which was in Ireland. Although the trip will be great, I think I'll miss Lauren. I want to spend as much time with her as I can. She's a really nice girl and I think I kind of like her, i doubt she'll like me though. I don't even know if she has a boyfriend! I guess I'll just have to wait and see how things go. I want to do something nice for her today but I have no idea what!

---Lauren's POV---

I went into Hayes' room and saw that he was packing for magcon.
"Need any help?" I asked him.
"Erh yeah, could you grab two of my hoodies from the closet please." he replied
"You mean wardrobe?" I asked "Sure." I added whilst grabbing a grey one and a blue one. "Are these okay?" I asked.
"Yeah, thanks Lauren. I'll miss ya when we go." he said to me.
"Aww, miss you too. How long are going for again?" I asked
"We have 3 days in Ireland then we're flying to Scotland for another 3 days." Hayes said
"Aww that's too long." I said with a sad look on my face.
"Yeah, are you doing anything today?" He asked me.
"Umm just go shopping as I need some new clothes, wasn't expecting a hot summer like this. Do you want to come?" I asked
"If you insist." he replied moaning about it even though he wanted to go really.
"Lauren, Lauren, Lauren!" Nash shouted. "YOU CAN COME! Bart our manager said you could come with us to Ireland. I checked with your parents and they said its fine. Unfortunately not Scotland as he said there wasn't any room at the hotel. But, YAY!" He shouted quickly bringing me, him and Hayes into a bear hug.
"That's great. I better get packing." I said.
"I'll introduce you to the boys, but just be a bit careful. Especially around all the fans ." He said whilst laughing but I could tell he was a bit worried. Nash is like a big brother to me, I'm so glad that I met them.

----------- 3 Hours Later ----------
"How about this one?" I asked hayes, showing him a blue tank top.
"It looks fine." He replied
"Wait wait! What about this?" I asked him, showing another blue tank top almost identical.
"Any they are all fine, honestly. Can we go soon though I'm boorrreeddd." He said sounding like a little kid.
"Okay I'll just go and pay for these. Wanna get something to eat after?" I ask
"Sure sounds good. I'll just wait here." Hayes replied
After I payed for both of the tank tops and a pair of white shorts I went to meet Hayes. I'm glad he came even if he is quite annoying. As I was getting closer to where he was waiting I saw that he was with a few fans who must have spotted him.
As I got closer I heard him say "I love you too." Then kissed a beautiful girls cheek. She grinned with delight. I couldn't help feel a pang of jealousy. I had know Hayes for little than a week but I though that there was some kind of connection between us. I know that they're just fans but she was gorgeous and he would never go for a girl like me when he has girls like that falling over his feet.
Once the fans had taken their pictures and left I went back up to Hayes.
"Hey Lauren! Sorry about that, I can't say no to the fans." He said when he saw me
"No it's fine don't worry. Where do you wanna go next?" I asked him.
"Umm.. well I bought some food. I was wondering if you wanted to go on a picnic maybe?" He said me scratching the back of his neck.
"Sure that sounds great!"

When Hayes said he had brought some food, I didn't know how much he really meant! He had two bags filled to the top. We went to a near by park and he laid down his jacket for us to sit him.
"After you my lady." he said in a fail of a posh British accent and gestured to his jacket.
"Why thank you kind sir." I replied.
Hayes pulled out endless amounts of food including strawberries, mini cakes and even a whole jar or Nutella!
"This is really nice thank you so much Hayes." I said to him.
"That's okay. I'm glad you like it. I-I wanted to do something a bit special. I don't know how much time I'll have with you once the tour starts." Hayes said looking right into my eyes. The natural light made his face glow even more than normal.
"It's really nice, thank you again." I looked away shyly whilst blushing.
"Here, have one if these. I can't eat then all myself." He said covering two strawberries in nutella. One for me and one for him.
"Yumm this is soo good!"
"Umm Lauren, you have something there." he said pointing to my nose. Oh no, why does everything embarrassing happen to me.
"Ergh, where? Is it here?" I asked.
"Nope, it's here." He said getting his strawberry and smudging the Nutella on the tip of my nose.
"Oohh, did you really just do that?" I said in a sassy voice.
"So what if I did?" He replied clicking his fingers.
"It's on!" I poured some water from a bottle into my hands and splashed it at him.
"Oh I'm ready!" He said grabbing the water bottle out of my hands and pouring it into his. Well this was going to be fun.
An hour later, after we had finished the food and were both soaking wet, we started to walk back home.
"I know I've already said it, but thank you for today. It was perfect."
"Honestly it was my pleasure." he replied.
I was starting to really like Hayes. I wanted a way to show him but I was scared he would just reject me. I know if I tried to tell him I would just choke up and stutter.
With a deep breathe in I slowly brushed my hand across his and gently grabbed hold of it. I didn't look at him, I was too scared. Out of the corner of my eye I saw him look at me and then our hands. I was scared he would let go and I felt my heart beat rise faster and faster. He intertwined our fingers and have a gentle squeeze. I breathed out and smiled widely. Today really was a perfect day.
