Dating Damon was easier than Angel thought it would have been. It'd been two months since they first kissed, and from that point on they'd been dating. Angel would mostly spend her nights at Damon's place, and he hadn't once been into her apartment. He was still scared that he would feed on her when he didn't mean to feed on her, or in the future he would make a mistake.
Angel still didn't know he was a vampire. Plus, it was easier to hide since Stefan left. Lexi had to drag Stefan out of the state, taking him on a trip to get away for a while. Find his humanity again. Lexi was hoping it would work, but it would take time.
On the plus side of Angel not knowing vampires, she still didn't know that Damon had killed people. It was a conversation he'd been dreading since they started dating. He knew he would have to tell her at some point, give her the option of staying with him forever or moving on and loving someone else. Which would pain Damon no matter what she chose, because he didn't want her to become a vampire just for him, but he also wanted to be with her forever. Though, forever's a long time.
Damon felt his bed shift as Angel turned to face him, making him turn his head to look at her. Her hand reached up to his jaw, and she cupped his cheek with a smile. Damon smiled back at her, wanting to know what she was thinking.
"I have to go to work in ten minutes," Angel said, her smile turning into a frown. "I don't want to leave."
"You have to go to work, or you have to get ready for work?" Damon asked. He turned to face her, grabbing her by the waist and pulling her closer to him. "Just a few minutes, that's all." He leaned to her and kissed her, Angel smiling into the kiss. Feeling her lips curve up made Damon smile, too. Their legs were tangled at the end of the bed, and Angel was slowly bringing her left leg up to pull over Damon's torso. Right as his hand reached to her waist, there was knocking coming from the front door. They both pulled away, Angel falling on her back in frustration. Damon sighed, pushing himself out of bed to go answer the door. He grabbed a shirt and pants, pulling them both on. "To be continued." Angel smiled at him, Damon turning and walking out of his room. He went to the front door, opening it to a smiling Stefan. "God, what do you want?"
"Ah, Damon, I haven't seen you in two months and this is how you react to seeing me again?" Stefan asked. He placed a hand over his heart as if he was actually touched by the encounter. "Brings me such joy."
"What do you want, Stefan?" he asked, his brother stepping into the house.
"I thought I'd pay you a visit since apparently you talked so fondly of Angel last time I was here," Stefan said, sauntering around the house. "Lexi is partying in New York somewhere, so I thought I'd stick with you. For real this time."
"Thanks, but no thanks. You'll be leaving now," Damon told him, trying to guide Stefan out of the house.
"Damon, who is it?" Angel asked, walking out into the foyer. Both the brothers turned to her, Angel stopping as she locked eyes with Stefan. "Who's this?" Damon laughed nervously, beginning to walk towards Angel.
"This is my brother. Stefan," Damon said, motioning to him. Angel looked from Damon to Stefan, raising an eyebrow at both of them.
"You two don't look related at all," she said. "And I clearly chose poorly."
"What?" Damon asked.
"I'm kidding," Angel said, stepping to him and kissing his cheek. "Nice to meet you, Stefan." She extended a hand to him, Stefan shaking it with a giddy smile.
