Bill Denbrough was a lonely boy to say the least, he rarely interacted with other kids and preferred to stay at home with his little brother Georgie. Sure he had some friends, mainly the group who liked to call themselves the losers but he always felt out of place around them.

Richie and Eddie were dating, Ben and Bev were dating, even Mike had a girlfriend now. Stanley and Bill were the only single ones in the group and the rest of the losers teased them saying that they should get together, of course they didn't know that Bill wanted that very much.

The night we're focusing on, is one where Bill was feeling more lonely than usual. His brother was asleep and he had stayed up reading. The book was a quite scary one that belonged to his mother, about a clown or something that murders kids. It was scary but there were a lot of cool characters despite how the author defiantly should have made them older. And of course there was that one scene at the end....

Bill was now bored and decided to go to the quarry and maybe build a dam. He pulled on a hoodie, and some jeans and snuck out the back door of his house trying to be as quiet as possible, and hopped on his bike Silver which wasn't really silver but more a dull grey color.

The night air was quiet and warm but came in sharp breezes for Bill as he rode. It was the kind of night that makes you ponder the more inquisitive things, which is exactly what Bill did as he started to think about his best friend.

Stanley was a tall lanky boy with hair that could only be described as looking like a bowl of Ramen. His smile was almost perfect, at least to Bill it was. Everything about Stan was like a masterpiece and Bill just wanted to see him all the time.

Bill reached the quarry, and parked his bike. He started to walk to his favorite spot but realized that there was already someone there. His heart stopped as he saw the outline of a person. In a panic Bill thought it was Bowers, or something from that book. He shivered and turned to leave when he heard a voice call out to him.

"Bill?" he heard Stan's voice call from the darkness. His heart raced and he turned to the figure, "Bill is that you? Come sit with me, why were you leaving?" the Jew called again.

"Suh-sorry I th-thought you were B-Bowers or suh-something" Bill chuckled and moved to sit next to his best friend. Bill hated to admit it but he always found Stan cute, and one could say he had developed a bit of a crush on him. He blushed at the thought and was relived that it was dark. The two boys sat together in silence until Stan spoke again.

"Hey Bill, do you see those stars? Those are my favorite cuz they're the brightest. Every night I come out here in the silence and listen to the crickets and look at those stars." Bill was no longer looking at the stars, instead staring in wonder at Stans face, Stan turned to look at Bill and he smiled shyly sending butterflies to Bills stomach. God he was so adorable.

"Stan?" Bill muttered not even stuttering at this point. His breath hitched as Stan moved closer to Bill, almost close enough to kiss him.

Then they were kissing. It was like a miracle, something that you only hear of but never something that actually happens to you. Bill took in the sight of Stan's face, close enough that he could count his freckles. This was the moment when Bill knew that as long as Stan was there, he wasn't ever going to be lonely again.
