My life used to be a mess. I felt like there wasn't a spot for me in the world anymore. Long story short, I ended up in a relationship with Bede, and it was the best decision I've ever made.
3rd person POV
"Does she even know what Rose even did when she was looked after by him?"
Bede was looking at all the gym leaders as they had their daily meet-up.
"No, but apparently he never officially adopted her." Bea replied. "He basically committed a crime."
Bede's face turned from calm to pale. "He was released from prison a few days ago, am I right?" Raihan cut in.
Gordie opens his mouth to answer but is quickly stopped by Melony.
"Allister?" Bea looks at the small Ghost-type gym Leader, who is curled up in a corner.
Bea then looks back at the group and shakes her head, then to only say "Protecting Y/N is our top priority, but we have the next gym challenge coming up and we obviously need to prepare, and also the order as been changed as well."
Milo's face brightens up. "You mean I won't be the first people have defeat anymore?"
Raihan shakes his head. "No, you are still first."
Bede manages to fit in a chuckle, then notices his action, and stops.
"The order is this." Raihan picks up a piece of paper. "Milo, Nessa, Kabu, Gordie/Melony, Bea/Allister, Marine, me and then Bede."
Y/N POV
"How'd it go?" I smile when Bede comes home, hugging my Eevee as well.
Bede immediately lies down on the sofa and sighs loudly.
"Well the order of the gym leaders have been changed, slightly. The league has put Ballonlea as the last gym."
I laugh. To think that Bede has overtook Raihan in his abilities. I mean, Opal did train Bede quite well, if I do say so myself.
"Hey... where is Opal?" Bede manages to sit upright and gets up.
"She wanted a nap." I glance to the stairs. Something is not right. I stop what I was doing and run up the stairs.

And what I saw next broke my heart.
