So based off the results of the vote, only 3 of her Pokemon have actually been confirmed now... I decided to update this and make her catch one in this chapter.
It was breathtaking, and also intimidating at the same time. I couldn't turn back, this was my choice and I cannot have Bede saving me all the time. As cute as he is, I need to look after myself.
Poking my head in those dens one after another, I searched for Pokemon that would make my team. Eevee was clearly nervous so I was stroking her continuously.
Days passed, and still no luck.
"E-Eevee!"
"Eevee what is it?"
Eevee was junping around happily, and then my months of rebuilding my friendship with my Eevee payed off. Why? Because right in front of me, a blinding blue light was shining like a star. A star...
A star.
That's where I wanted to be a life.
A shining star, wanting to make people smile.
And my Eevee evolving into Espeon helped me realise that.
I stayed awake all night, writing down the song I had been wanting to sing for ages, whilst my Espeon cuddled up to me.
I realised that I wanted to help people who were going through the same things I had experienced.
And to do that, I needed many, many, things.
After days of shoving my head down Pokemon dens, I finally came across a Gigantamax Toxtricity.
"Espeon! If we catch this then it's one step closer to our dreams! It's a sound based Pokemon! We gotta catch it! Psychic!" Commands were yelled passionately as I managed to throw an ultra ball Bede gave me, and... I caught it."You caught a Pokemon? And your Eevee evolved?" Bede asked when I phoned him that evening. (Just imagine Toxtricity charging le phone.)
"Mhm! Just three more Pokemon now." I say whilst eating the curry I'd cooked. "Is everything okay over at the gym?"
Bede sighs. "Hectic, we need you back for the gym challenge, when it starts."
"I will be back by then, the sooner I find the rest of my team, the better."
"I hope you are back soon, Y/N."
"I do as well Bede, love you."
I can hear him giggling over the phone.
"I love you a lot Y/N, anyway we both need to sleep. I have an exhibition match tomorrow with Kabu."
"Good luck."
As I laid down to sleep, my brain kept on processing what has happened over the past few days and how to tell Bede my dreams. He will definitely support my decision, about becoming an idol and still making our relationship work.
(I watch too many idol anime...)
If I do, I will bring awareness about everything I went through and support other people along the way.
