It's been a long year, so many things you've been through together, and Grimm wanted to get you a little gift of sort to remind you that he loves you now matter what. On New Year's Eve Grimm told the grimmkin, brumm and divine to keep you busy all day, while he went the hunt for the perfect gift for you. You woke up but Grimm wasn't there, so you went to divines tent to see if she knew
"Hey divine have you se-" "Oh (y/n)~ come help me find some food!" Divine said as she dragged you out of the tents "oh um okay divine let me tell Grimm fi-" "No need to silly! I already asked him to" she said after cutting you off. After a couple of hours your legs started to get tired....
"Hey divine my legs are getting tireddddddd" you said as you feel your legs start to wobble "oh dear I forgot you had legs, here get on my back I'll walk us home" you have a small nod and before you knew it you were back.
Grimm first went to a flower shop to see if he could get your (favourite/ flower) but sadly they had run out. He let out a loud sigh before Continuing his journey. "How about a necklace?" He said out loud to himself, and as he walked in one Immediately caught his eye. It was a silver chain with small Sapphire stones scattered around here and there in the chain with a medium sized ruby. 'It's perfect!' He thought but then he looked at the price.......
But as he was look for necklaces you were walking around the tents looking for boyfriend, until brumm say you "Oh (y/n) there you are i need your help with a new dress I'm designing." He said but before you could decline you were already in the room with the dress. He asked you so many questions that you basically made it yourself. "Hey brumm I'm getting kinda hungry so I'm going to go eat something." "Okay I'll see you later (y/n)!" He gave you a small wave before going back to the dress.
200,000 geo...... 200 thousand geo.... 200,000 FUC- "sir would you like to Purchase that?" "Ummm yes please." It took almost all his saving to buy you that and it was sort of worth it, now all he needed to do was find a good place for the fireworks. But little did he know almost every single bug in existence would want to watch the fireworks. But it was only 4:30 so he had plenty of time to find somewhere.
And all the way on the other side of town was you looking for Grimm but then you ran into one of the grimmkin "hey hey hey (y/n) want to play catch with me and the other grimmkin??" He said so Energetically that it was hard to say no. "Okay only for a bit though." And that's how you realised just how unfit you were, while all the grimmkin were wizzing all over the place you were struggling to run 20 meters. It was a real hassle, but you love the grimmkin as if they were your own children.
"AH HA" Grimm shouted as he found the perfect spot to watch the fireworks, turns out there's a lake somewhere in dirtmouth where you can rent Boats. The lake was in a more secluded part of town so not many people knew about it. After that he went to buy some candles and some other things for after the fireworks. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
After you were done with the Grimmkin it was already 10pm so you decided to eat something. As you were putting the mac n cheese in the microwave Grimm popped out of no where and grabbed your wrist. "Ahhh frick my mac n cheese....." "don't worry about that my dear, we have ourselves a little date." And before you realised it you and Grimm where on a boat looking up at the sky, it was 11:55pm so you guys had time to chat. "Hey Grimm what do you think is going to await next year." "I'm not really sure my dear, but as long as I'm with you everything will be okay."
