I wake up in Logan's bed alone. Well, I guess the fact that we're dating doesn't mean he'll lie around waiting for my ass to wake up.
I climb out of bed and go to the bathroom. When I come back, I look at the bedside table where my tablet should be and frown.
Shrugging, I make my way to my room and put on a simple yellow sundress. But there seems to be no tablet. Weird. I braid my hair and pin them up in a messy up-do since I don't want to style them. And making them presentable otherwise takes too much effort.
I climb down the stairs and hear the familiar rock music playing quietly from the kitchen. It's Guns N' Roses song Don't Cry. I quickly scan the living room, but no tablet there.
The mystery is solved the moment I enter the kitchen. My tablet is lying on the kitchen counter a few feet away from Logan.
I quietly take the paper napkins from the table and ball them up.
"Why!" I throw the first balled-up napkin and hit the back of Logan's head with it.
"Is." Second napkin - bull's eye.
"My." Logan turns smirking as the napkin hits his chest.
"Tablet." Another hit in the chest.
"Here?" I throw the last three napkins from my hand in a single throw. They all hit the target.
"Good morning. You seem kind of aggressive this morning. Want some food, I just finished omelet?" Logan smirks winking at me and turns around back to the stove.
"I looked everywhere. Why is it here?" I don't relent coming closer. I pick up the napkins from the floor and throw them in the trash can.
"Well, for some mystical reason your tablet has a better sound than my phone," Logan explains, taking a plate out of the cupboard.
"But you're playing it through that Bluetooth radio or whatever it is, what that has to do with the sound quality of my tablet?" I ask, taking the plate from Logan and kissing his cheek.
"The sound-card or something makes it better. Don't ask me the specifics. I don't know. I just noticed your tablet sounded better. If you want, I can call Rob, he'll explain to you more detailed." Logan shrugs.
I nod my head and dig in the eggs.
"This is good. Thank you. Did you sleep well? You're going to Triple D tomorrow?" I ask as Logan smirks.
"Slow down tiger. I slept wonderfully. Thank you for asking. Did you sleep well?" Logan smiles at me warmly and with mild amusement in his blue eyes.
"I slept well. I did have to go pee like three times at night, but otherwise, it was good. You're a nice pillow, despite all the hard edges and muscles." I smile back at him.
"Yeah, I noticed that you use me as a substitute pillow." Logan wiggles his brows.
"You didn't seem to mind."
"No, I didn't. And, yes, I have work tomorrow."

"What the fuck, Daisy?"
I blink at Logan, who's glaring at me from the doorway of the house. Today was my first day back at work in kindergarten, and I feel great.
"Hello, love." I smile and walk to Logan.
"No, don't you smile at me like that. How did you manage to change my playlist?" Logan growls.
I blink innocently. "I need to pee. Do you mind moving aside?"
