The fairy waiters all hastily finished doing what they were doing, half of them started to sing a melody while the other half went upstairs. Everyone around started to cheer. Snufkin looked down at the unopened letter in his hand. The other half of the fairies came back downstairs and started to play small ukuleles. Moomin was about to start writing his letter but was interrupted by a sudden burst of song, he couldn't help but listen. Ebba held up a sheet of paper up to her face and started to sing the main part of the song with fairy backup singers and ukulele players all standing at the front of the bar for all to hear. Snufkin, puzzled, opens the letter and takes out a folded piece of paper. He unfolds it and looks at the page. "I know how you feel Snufkin." Were the only words written on the paper. Confused, Snufkin listened to the lyrics of the song. After all, Ebba did say that the man gave her the lyrics too.

"You took the beat of my heart
And you moved all the pieces, you pulled it apart
Now it plays on repeat and I cant stop
The rhythm you've started."

Snufkin didn't find any clues in the lyrics yet, but as Moomintroll listened he felt something.

"You took the tune in my head
And replaced it with melodies you wrote instead
Now they're coming on through
And I'm spreading the song that you've started,"

Snufkin tried to listen closer but although the tune was new to Snufkin, it felt familiar and soothing to him somehow and he allowed himself to tap his foot among to the beat. Moomin couldn't quite put his finger on it but he connected with those lyrics. He hadn't heard them before but he recognised them.

"Oh now play me another melody, melody
Stay, light a fire under me, under me
And I'll make up a cover to keep us dry,
As the raindrops beat down rhythms from the sky."

Snufkin didn't know what came over him but he suddenly wanted to dance. All of the things that were happening, His mouth organ, his newfound feelings, the strange letter, he never found an opportunity to just relax! He allowed his head to nod along aswell as mumbling the part the backup singers were singing. It finally clicked. Moomin recognised those lyrics because he was living those lyrics. It was Snufkin's spring tune impacting Moomin so much!

"You took the breath from my lungs
Now there's nothing else left and I've clearly begun
To fall head over chest so now
Come carry on what you've started"

Snufkin got up and let the beat carry him away. He held his hand out for Moomin to take hold. Moomin hesitantly grabbed his hand and asked him, "what are you doing?" Snufkin pulled him up onto his feet as he said

"Dancing!" They spun around the room, letting the melody take them from table to table.

"You took the words from my tongue
And you silenced my troubles, you hushed every one
And I finally heard all my thoughts clear and
Strong and I started"

Soon everyone was pairing up and dancing! Even some of the fairy backup singers! Moomin and Snufkin twirled around the room, narrowly avoiding other creatures who were joining in with the music. All dancing and swaying in unison, they were like a well oiled machine.

"Oh now play me another melody, melody
Stay, light a fire under me, under me
And I'll make up a cover to keep us dry,
As the raindrops beat down rhythms from the sky."

The twirls slowed as people noticed the song was ending and pairs prematurely broke apart to go back to their food and drinks. Snufkin listened closely to the tune and just as the song finished he stopped dead in his tracks, holing Moomins paw, inches away from his face. Moomin backed away and slightly blushed, he heard cheers come from all around as the creatures all went back to their seats and the fairies started to get back to work.

"That's it." Snufkin mumbled under his breath.

"What's it?" Asked Moomin

"That's it! That's the song!" He shot a wide-eyed exited look towards Moomin.

"What?! Really?"

"Yes!" Snufkin jumped with joy

"You seep pleased." Snufkin turned to see Ebba behind him.

"Oh thank you! Thank you Ebba! If there is anything I can do to repay you, just ask!"

"Well, I'm not entirely sure what I did, but you're welcome." Ebba replied. Snufkin and Ebba hugged and Moomin felt his eyebrows narrow. Snufkin quickly grabbed his backpack, passed Moomin his paper and pen and ran out the door! "Goodbye! See you by winter!" Ebba waved. Moomin ran out the door after Snufkin.
