you needed space

 you needed space 

I have finally learnt to be okay with you and
now I can hear your name without a lump of sick
sitting in my throat and I really think I am doing
better by myself even if I had to drum that into
my mind over a thousand times just to believe it
so if you come running back for me just know that
I won't be here as you told me you needed space
and I finally realised that you meant from me
