tiny wrinkles

 tiny wrinkles 

you have taught your eyes
to only notice what you consider
to be ugly about yourself
but, darling
you have never seen the way your eyes
look when the sun shines
through them
you have never seen the way that
your chest rises and falls when you're sleeping
and you have never seen the tiny million wrinkles
that embed on your eyelids when you laugh
