I roll my eyes. He's so childish. Last time I've known such a kid was two years ago and it didn't end well. Actually, he's my ex now. I couldn't stand him looking at other girls and thinking he was the only boy girls desired and that I should be happy to be able to date him. I wasn't so lucky after all, but that's another story. Moving on.
I feel two gentle taps on my shoulder and I turn around in utter shock. Behind me stands a ten feet tall giraffe with blonde hair in a red flannel and black ripped jeans. And to admit, this giraffe really looks good.
"Hi." The giraffe says.
"Hi!" I squeal nervously, wondering why such a good-looking boy would actually say hi to a girl like me.
"I'm Luke Hemmings, I was crying just a few seconds before but now I'm good again." He says and then a light bulb lights up in my head. He was the one I've been texting and his face looks horribly familiar to me. I wouldn't have thought that the unknown number who texted me was this easy on the eyes? Oh my god, I think I'm drooling again.
"Oh right, the baby!" I say with a sympathetical smile. "I'm Ava Taylor. I was just being stalked but now I'm good again."
He smirks, sitting down. "I was just joking, jeez. Don't you have any sense of humor?"
I blush. Why does this guy intimidate me so much? I kind of recognize him, but I don't know exactly from where. "I do, bitch."
"How long are you gonna call me bitch? It was funny two minutes ago but now it's getting old." He says.
"As long as you're gonna stay a rude baby. And I actually do have sense of humor by the way." I say, instantly regretting what I said. I hardly know any jokes and the only humor I can master is sarcasm, but childish people usually don't understand that.
"Tell me a joke." He simply says exactly what I was hoping for. Not.
I hesitate for a moment. "What did Zero say to number eight?"
"Nice belt." He sighs, rolling his eyes at me. "Can't you think of a better one?"
"What's red and bad for your teeth?" I ask again. This one is so stupid it has to be funny.
Instead of the expected reaction, he just growls and answers: "A brick! Oh my god, try harder!"
"Sure thing bitch." I shoot back and he shoots me a glare. "What does a nosy pepper do?"
He stays silent. He just shrugs his shoulders and a wave of satisfaction comes breaking over me.
"Get jalapeño business! Ha! You didn't know the answer!" I shout proudly and stand up to do some kind of victory dance.
"Alright, alright! You don't have to rub it in my face though." He says with an offended tone, but still with a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. He pulls my arm to get me to sit back down again. We are currently sitting in front of the mall on a stone bench near the shopping carts.
"Wanna go inside and get a drink? I'm sure there's a lot you want to know." He says, this time in a bit nicer tone.
I nod and we walk inside.
After we got our drinks we sit at a table close to the kid's playing area.
"Can't we go anywhere else?" I whine, thinking that the screaming children are way too loud.
"No way. These children are like music to my ears." He laughs. Why does he think it's so funny? Ugh, boys. I roll my eyes. "Kidding, it's because other people maybe aren't meant to hear the information I'm about to give you." He says while taking a sip of his coffee.
I hesitate for a moment. Was it really a good idea to meet up in the first place? Oh my god, I'm scared now. "W-which information?" I stutter with widened eyes.
He looks at me for a moment but then starts to laugh. "Hahaha, you should see your face right now! Don't worry babe, haha, it's harmless." He assures me with a cheeky grin.
I roll my eyes for what feels like the hundredth time today. "Don't call me babe."
"Then don't call me bitch." He says, again taking a sip of his coffee.
I smile but then change back to the original subject. "So was it bad?" I ask with furrowed eyebrows.
"Well, if you think that dancing on the tables, pole dancing and making out with random guys is bad, then yeah, it was bad for you." He simply says, taking a sip again. Does he always take these small sips or is it just me? I already emptied my espresso a minute ago. But now I almost choke on my own saliva because of what he said.
"WHAT? I did all those things?!" I almost scream.
"Yeah, but maybe speak a bit louder so everyone can hear you." He said, taking a sip. AGAIN.
"Oh my god." I feel my cheeks already burning because of the embarrassment when I think of how I must've looked. "And you just watched me and did nothing?"
"Oh, I did something. I waved off all the guys that tried to get you to the bedrooms and have a wild night with them. I even think I saw someone putting a pill in your drink but don't know exactly who. Anyway, I kind of babysat you because you were high all the time, and eventually you told me you loved me and gave me your phone number." He says. Guess what he does? HE TAKES A SIP.
"I did not." I gasp.
"You did, I'm sure there are some security-camera videos, wanna go and look?" He says, standing up instead of taking a sip.
"No." I bluntly say and watch him sit back down.
"Good, because I want to finish my coffee first." ( I don't even have to say what he does anymore.)
"Take your time." I say rolling my eyes and resting my head on the back of my hand.

Helloooo!
Guys, you are incredible! 100+ views already? That's crazy, thank you so much.
So yeah, basically we have the luck that Ava is a bit dumb, so she actually believes it when Luke is joking what makes it more fun for me because I can laugh about her whilst writing !!!!!!111
No seriously though, I have a lot of stuff planned for this, I just still need some filler chapters and fillers in general before the real drama is coming so yeah, stay tuned.
I hope to be able to update soon again, I'll be writing a lot this week because a lot is going to happen in my life (omg what is a life??!!1) and I'm really busy so I just want to clear my mind sometimes and usually I just write, often also take some real experiences into the stories, what not always is too cool for when friends read my stories and they automatically feel offended that I write about them like that. xd
And also my birthday is on the third of December!!!!!11 If you want to give me food send it to my p.o. box .....
Nah, just kidding, now I'm hungry though.
