Prologue Pt4: Beach Rescue

{6 Month Time Skip after Draco's first rival battle...}

(Early Noon.)

Summer. It is that time of the year where the sun bears down on all with its oppressive glare. This is the typical summer day at Lilycove City. Kids and their Pokémon playing in the water, chubby sunbathers lying facedown on their worn out beach towels, lines of people waiting to grab some hot and cold food at food stands near the beach. For young Draco and Kira, it's a festive occasion where some of the rarest summer treats come out on restaurant venues for a limited time. The pair are walking through the streets of Lilycove City in their beach attire as their backpacks are full to the brim.

Draco: "The redbean matcha shaved ice is out today! We got seven hours of fun before the dinner night out with my parent's business clients from overseas."

Kira checks his Trainer ID to see if he has enough funds for today's venture. He smiles and turns to Draco while walking menacingly.

Kira: "My treasury vaults are ready for today's conquest, Elder Brother. However..."

Before Kira finishes his sentence, a loud and angry voice booms from the sidewalk leading to the beach area. The source of the commotion is from a large obese boy towering over another boy who's wearing expensive and fashionable attire. The seemingly wealthy kid's face is painted with visible disgust and disdain.

???????: "YOU DARE LITTER THE GROUND IN MY PRESENCE?!"

The bigger brat towering over the rich lad sneers and says.

????: "What are you gonna do abou..."

Having enough of the obese titan, the rich kid delivers a high round house kick to the chubby ingrate's tempo. Bystanders and passerby folks were stunned at the scene before them. The obese brat was knocked out cold as his skull landed on the sidewalk pavement.

???????: "KNOW YOUR PLACE BASTARDO!"

Now that the conflict dissipated, everyone continued their sight seeing and business like nothing happened. Draco claps loudly at the spectacle then walks towards the wealthy individual who's still wearing an angry expression but that angry mask lessened with the pair of newcomers walking toward him.

Draco: "Bravissimo! That was a fantastic kick to the tempo. I agree with you on the act of littering to be honest. It's common sense to take care of the planet we live on."

Kira also adds his piece to the conversation.

Kira: "Defiling Mother Nature is a unforgivable blasphemous sin. Such vile actions reek of bad civilization."

Upon hearing our words, the rich kicker nods with approval.

???????: "I'm Vincenzo Caputo. The both of you are different compared to the ungrateful and disgusting mongrels that I've seen."

Draco and Kira laugh as Vincenzo joins in the laughing session but the festive atmosphere unfortunately cuts short when Draco stops laughing and wears an expression of rage. He turns his attention to the beach where a crowd is starting to form and says five words that need no explanation.

Draco: "There's a Pokémon in trouble!"

After saying that, Draco pulls out two wheels for his wheelie shoes and steps on them as he speeds off to the beach. Kira did the same action and caught up with Draco. Vincenzo, who approved of the dynamic duo, also runs with the duo in hot pursuit.

The trio arrived at the Lilycove beach as a shiny Lapras is fending off attacks from greedy Pokémon trainers that are trying to catch it. Wounds can be seen on the body of the Lapras as it struggles to hold its ground.
