"Hey, do you two losers want to see a movie this afternoon?" Michelle asked, as the trio walked the corridors of Midtown to their next class.

Peter stared at her in shock, "Michelle Jones inviting us to do something?!" he squinted suspiciously at her, "Who are you and what have you done with MJ?"

"Yeah, it's always us inviting you to do something!" Ned agreed.

"Fine, if you don't want to go then just say so," Michelle rolled her eyes.

"I want to go!" the losers quickly added.

"Good. 4:30? At the movie theater downtown?"

"Sounds good!" Ned said.

"Works for me," Peter agreed.

Peter bounded down the stairs, pausing momentarily in the living room, where his parents were sitting on the couch going over some paperwork on a Starkpad, "I'm going to a movie with my friends, k?"

"Which friends?" Pepper asked, looking up from the device.

"Ned and MJ."

"MJ? Whose MJ?" Tony asked.

"You know... Michelle Jones? Ned and I met her in sixth grade?"

"Oh... right. Your girlfriend," Tony stated calmly.

"Dad!!" Peter exclaimed, "She is not my girlfriend!"

"Whatever you say, kiddo."

"Have fun, Peter!" Pepper quickly interjected.

Peter waved goodbye, stepping into the elevator, "To the lobby please, FRIDAY."

"Of course, Peter."

About fifteen minutes later, Peter arrived at the movie theater, spotting Ned and MJ standing near the entrance.

"Hi!" Peter greeted his friends.

"Glad you finally decided to join us, Loser," Michelle said, leading Ned and Peter into the theater.

One movie later, the trio stepped out of the theater, making comments on their favorite scenes.

"Honestly, though. That crazy illusion scene was trippy," Ned said.

"Right?! Just watching I still had trouble figuring out what was real and what was fake!" Peter agreed.

MJ opened her mouth to comment, quickly being interrupted by the sound of an explosion.

The three friends turned around just in time to see a large chunk of cement come hurtling toward them.

"Move!" Peter yelled, pulling his friends out of the path of the debris.

They tumbled to the ground, watching, horrified, as the cement crashed into the ground near them. Peter looked in the direction the debris had come from, spotting a man wearing mechanical wings standing in the middle of the road. He looked back to his friends, who remained on the ground, still shook from the close call.

"You need to get out of here!" Peter ordered, helping his friends stand.

"So do you!" Ned replied.

"I know, but my house is closer than yours! Get a head start, hurry!"

"Hold up," Michelle stood firm in her spot, "You expect to get home right now?! Your place is on the other side of that crazy man!"

"Yeah, come with us, Peter!" Ned agreed.
