Beaten and bloody on the cross,
completely aware of his great loss.
Asking the Lord to forgive them,
those who have beaten him.
A heart full of love and joy,
telling people ever since he was a boy,
that there was someone who loved them, not a fraud,
but a God.
Who will never leave you,
so what else could he do,
but to bleed
for your greatest need,
