I feel myself floating, drifting away. It's peaceful. I don't feel the pain. I think I'm dead. I hope I'm dead. I see a bright light. I reach for it. Wait... is that... a ceiling? I blink. Yep. Taking a glance at my surroundings I see the room resembles a hospital room. But I know it isn't. Oh God. I'm alive. NO! I want the torture to end! I begin sobbing, and a few moments later the door opens. I shrink back, expecting Shigaraki or Toga, maybe even Kurogiri this time, he hasn't had his fun yet. But when I look up, I do a double take. "Sho?" I grasp out. "Oh thank god, Izu!" He rushes to the bed and pulls me into a hug, embracing me tightly. I tense at first, but almost immediately relax and hug him back. "Please tell me this isn't a dream. Please tell me you're really here and I'm out of that hell." He pulls back slightly and looks me in the eyes. "This is real, Izu." He says and then gently places a kiss to my lips. I freeze for a second but soon go along with it. It's amazing. I thought I would never again feel his lips on mine. It seems so surreal. I wrap my arms around his neck, ignoring the pain that runs through my lower body at the stretch. After a few minutes, Sho pulls away, both of us breathless. "Let's get you out of here, okay Izu?" Sho looks at me, waiting for an answer. "Please, I'm so sick of hospitals." He nods and walks out of the room. Before I can even begin to start panicking, Dabi walks into the room. "Hey Izu, it's nice to see you awake." I instantly smile. "Hey Touya!" He sits down by my bed. "Shoto drove me insane trying to find you. I'm so sorry, I wish I would have found you sooner." He sets his head on his arm son the side of my bed, his shoulders trembling slightly. I gently rest my hand on his hair. He looks up at me with tear filled eyes. "There's nothing to be sorry for. It's not your fault." I say, tears now running down my own face. Just then a man I've never seen before walks through the door. He looks up from his chart and sees the two of us crying, immediately rushing to Dabi's side. He kneels down and embraces him. Dabi instantly falling into his arms. This must be Hawks. Shoto comes to stand beside me, as he came in after Hawks. I grab his hand as I watch the blonde male comfort the his husband. That could be me and Sho one day. I love him so much. I never want to lose him. After Dabi calms down a bit Hawks turns to us. "Your injuries were repairable. Most of the cuts were shallow, and we managed to give you a blood transfusion, so, I'm proud to say, you should make a full recovery. Just sign these release forms and you can go home." He hands me the clipboard he was carrying earlier, and I sign the forms. "Alright then, you can take him home, Shoto." Sho smiles and nods at Hawks. He and Dabi leave the room and Sho helps me stand and get dressed. I grimace at my still healing wounds, remembering how they were each inflicted. We finally manage to walk out of the doors to the hospital and head the only place I want to be right now. Home. Once we arrive, Sho carries me to the kitchen and sets me down, proceeding to make Katsudon. I smile at him as he cooks, admiring his face, his stature. He's so amazing. How did I end up with this wonderful man? After a while, he comes to the table with two bowls of steaming food, and it smells amazing. Sho tells me about how he managed to get us in online classes. After that we eat in a comfortable silence, sneaking glances at each other over our bowls. Once we finish eating, Sho takes our bowls and washes them before coming back to pick me up and taking me back to the bedroom. We say our goodnights after getting undressed and fall asleep in each other's arms.
*3 A.M.*
I wake up to the sound of a glass breaking. I shoot up and see Shoto getting up out of the bed, grabbing a baseball bat. And slowly leaving the room. A few moments later I hear a loud pop and Shoto yells out in pain. I rush out of the room to see Sho's father, Enji standing with a gun in his hands, in front of Shoto. Shoto is lying on the floor, in a quickly expanding pool of blood. "No!" I scream out in anguish. Enji raises the gun in my direction. "So you're the slut my son has been hooking up with. Why he has refused to take over my company. Oh, you're gonna learn, you little WHORE!" BANG. I brace myself, waiting for the pain. But it never comes. I slowly look up and see Enji staring at his chest in shock. His shirt is rapidly turning a deep crimson from the hole in his chest. He drops to the ground and doesnt move again. Then Dabi steps out from around the corner. He rushes to Shotos side and applies pressure to his stomach. Just then, Hawks runs through the door with a briefcase and sits beside Sho. Sho tilts his head back. Seeing me, he reaches for me. I rush to him and grab his hand, holding on for dear life. "He'll be okay. The bullet missed all of the important stuff." Hawks says, and begins stitching Sho's wound. Sho squeezes my hand painfully tight but I stay quiet. He needs me right now. Once Hawks finishes the front, he flips Shoto ever so gently over, so he can stitch the exit site. I never let go of his hand. Once my love is patched up and back in the bed, Dabi and Hawks leave, after much convincing that I can handle this. I board you the window Enji broke getting in and look to where his body laid earlier. Dabi had called his friends in the police force, and they cleared the mess up, with minimal questioning. I'm grateful for that. I go back to our bedroom and lie down beside the love if my life before drifting off to sleep.
