"It went through!" Edmund's voice rung through his study, immediately drawing the attention of his siblings and Head Chef who'd all been sat with him, awaiting the email.

Lucy's eyes widened as she clapped her hands, a joyous smile finding her elder sister's lips.

"That's it? The law's changed?" Lilith decided it was best to be sure before she whooped or even smiled, head immediately turning to her boyfriend who looked mildly surprised it'd gone through so quickly.

"It is. Ed can-"

"Stay in the country." The brunet called, yet was already tugging his coat off where it had been discarded earlier that day.

"Where're you going?" Susan queried abruptly, getting to her feet, yet received no reply as her brother had already sprinted from the door.

"Well, where do you think?" The High King replied, a genuinely contented smirk on his lips.

"Can they free her? Just like that?" Lucy spoke, growing cautious of how easily she got excited.

"He's King, he can have her released."

"He couldn't minutes ago." Susan pointed out, striding over and skimming the email.

Peter shrugged, "He can, now that she isn't accessory to a crime."

"That means I don't have to marry you!" Lilith teased, elbowing the blond, who simply scowled.

"Very funny, Lil. Very funny."

She left him with nothing but an overly sweet smile before making her way, rather hastily, back the Palace to check her kitchen was still standing.

Goddamn Louis and his chicken.

"Reza?"

"Hm?" The journalist looked away from the ceiling of her cell and towards the Prison Officer at the door.

"Gather whatever you have. You're free to go."

"I- what? Just like that?"

"I'll be waiting here for when you're ready."

And with that, the officer shut the barred hatch.

Sanya shot up from where she was laid- gathering the few clothes she had with her, and was at the door in seconds.

"I'm ready!"

Sanya frowned as the officer opened the door, looking her up and down.

"You don't fancy freshening up? With the King of England waiting outside, I'd have thought you'd have brushed your hair."

"I-" Ed was waiting for her? Sanya glanced back to her brush- a brush in a cell she couldn't bear to spend another moment in. Yet, as she attempted to run her fingers through her hair, and failed terribly, she grabbed her brush and began utilising it as they left the wing.

"Happy Birthday." Were the first words the brunet King spoke once he was stood face to face outside the prison walls with Sa- his girlfriend.

"It isn't a half bad one." She replied, the camera flashes making her want to smash every single lens present.

"I'm glad to hear."
It took Edmund a lot of self-restraint to not kiss her right there and then. Not that it was illegal anymore, but- this wasn't right.
"Come on." He told her before he could change his mind as he took her hand, leading her to the waiting car.
