"Desflu- desflurane- it's desflurane-" Lilith opened her eyes, her muttering falling flat as she let out a groan, stone walls coming into view.

It was then she noticed she wasn't the only one tied to a chair.

Peering behind her, she noticed her fellow Monarchs and Monarch-to-be stirring, all tied to chairs as she was.

It was their positioning that gave away where they were.

The 6 were placed in a circle, yet all facing outwards.

"To be isolated allows the captive to think steady. Yet when inches from those he loves, may his concentration be tainted." The redhead recited aloud before sitting back in her chair and closing her eyes.

She knew her binds would be inescapable as she'd tied the Fortis' renowned knots herself, many times.

She knew they'd be under surveillance.

But what she didn't know was WHY they were there.

If they'd wanted them dead, they would be already. It wasn't like the Monarchs had anything to hide- did they?

So whatever her ex-alliance had in mind was beyond her.

Only time would tell, she decided.

And that time would only come when those around her decided to bloody wake up already.

Sanya, quite honestly, regretted ever coming to England.

When she had been sixteen, all she had wanted was to live there, get Harry Potter merchandise and go to places where it was filmed, maybe see Tom Holland and meet some cute British guy or girl.

And now look!

Engaged to an amazing person she might be- but she'd nearly died twice, well thrice now, had been in jail, had a hand which clicked funny when she was tired, had torture lessons every Saturday and now been kidnapped by someone determined to kill her fiancé and his family- his ROYAL family- with her own family dead or unconscious.

"Fucking finally." Lilith sighed as she saw the Indian's eyes flutter open.

"I hate being tied up." Sanya hissed to her a second later, unable to do more than make her wrists burn as she struggled against her bounds. "It makes me- anxious and panicky-y."

"Well, control yourself-"

"I KNOW." She growled, heart starting to beat erratically and even more when she saw Edmund shift a bit, apparently coming to as well.

The rest of the Monarchs were tied up as well, hands AND feet and while it wasn't a laughing time, seeing Peter drool made Sanya want to laugh.

"Agh... my head-" The younger King moaned as he did his best to sit up. "Where am- Sanya! Are you alright?"

She shook her head, thinking of her parents and brother.
"None of us are."

"I'm sorry our engagement party got ruined."

"I know, I was looking forward to the food."

Lilith rolled her eyes at the banter, but had to commend them for their strength and not panic- especially Sanya, who had looked almost on the verge of an anxiety attack before Edmund had woken up.

"Of course I look angry, Edmund." Susan hissed half an hour later. "I AM angry. Frustrated and- Peter STILL isn't awake! I KNEW we should've made every drink there non-alcoholic."

Edmund scoffed, "And you're supposed to be life of the party."

"In Peter's defence, he didn't expect all that to happen." Lilith spoke fairly, glancing backwards at Susan.
